Come to think of it if they went for a whole steampunk Ironman that would have been nice

Good lord everyone is jumping on the Iron Man cash cow. Soon we will have Mattel announcing Barbie Iron Man...

I've read the joints will be hidden on the knee's and elbows, which says to me, there will be rubber covered joints. Which may prevent me from buying this thing. It's iron man, the beauty of such a character in figure form is that you CAN get away with visible joints since he's a robot. There is no reason to rubber coat his elbows and knees.

I guess it's supposed to be some crazy stylized version? I like 3A but this is an easy pass.
Weird choice for a release.

It's ashley Wood's Take on the Mk I.

It's.... VERY Ashley Wood.

This is why I was... somewhat concerned when I heard they had a liscense that wasn't film based.it's possible we might get some more "comicy" designs later. I'm more interested to see their Doom.

Why do people get surprised? It's 3A, why would you expect something "classic"?

Not my cup of tea, being a 3A fan, this one looks too much like a "designer" toy, but I do like some parts of the figure, the chest and the hands look cool.

At least is not another retarded soulless HT Iron man, although firefighter looks more like a 3A figure ironically, the rest of them are just ew.

I'm not really familiar with 3A Toys. What's the deal with this? Is making weird, abstract versions of characters like their "thing"?

I'm a little disappointed in the design. I was really looking forward to seeing what 3A and Ashley would come up with, but this is a bit of a let-down. It looks like they blended the classic Iron Man suit from the 70s with some Ashley Wood stuff, but the combo is too clean and tidy. I wish they would have gone all in one way or the other. This feels very wishy washy and so un-Ashley.

Well their designs are not really abstract, more like, over stylized, I'm not sure if I like this figure though, as a 3A fan, I expected something completely different, very mechanical instead of this weird mix, but I think I'll end up liking it when I see a painted version.
