Thanks for the info. I bought a 10 pack of the cheap ones off EBay. I really just want to make sure the lights work and then I will be removing the batteries anyways.

You had a similar issue with the glue, and l have to agree about prefering the glue to give out rather than the plastic.
Also l see you managed to squeeze him in your Detolf, though l think a BESTA might serve this collection best.
Bee can't get in without crouching, so just imagine Prime and the others.

Yeah I was alittle upset at first but came to the same conclusion as you. Rather the glue give out than the plastic break and it's very easy to tab it back into the slots and re-glue.

Lol.. So this is a first. I went to pull Bee out of the packaging and the thought actually crossed my mind to be careful of getting grease on my fingers haha.. Wow

You guys warned about a loose piece so I came into this unboxing planning to be super careful. Unfortunately as soon as I removed the top layer of foam I saw a loose piece laying out of place. Easy enough to put back though.

Impressions. Beautiful figure. The weathering is top notch. Like I mentioned before the dirt, grease and grime is very realistic and well done. This looks like a real metal and mechanical piece. Because of this you expect it to have some weight but it doesn't. It's pretty light for its size. The articulation is great. More likely than not you will have some small pieces unpeg and fall out. I think this is done on purpose to prevent breakage. I have had two small pieces pop off. Both times I have been able to pop them back on but I will probably use a dab of glue to keep them in place. One of the 'arms' that hold the door wings is a bit loose on mine so you have to fiddle with it a bit to get it to hold its position. The other one holds fine. The eyes were a criticism early in development and IMO that criticism still holds true. They are not screen accurate and appear a bit rough to be honest. And that is really my only negative. Seems like they purposely omitted detail for some reason. Odd. Great figure all around though. When my cheap EBay batteries arrive I will test out the light function. Looking forward to Prime even more now! Pictures to come.

I like the light up features except for the arm. In my opinion it doesn't translate well and light bleeds through the gray paint on the end of the barrel.

Issues aside, a great start. I hope the others stick to their current release shedules. I'm going to probably get Megatron last.

Hopefully I can get some better pictures tomorrow in the daylight.

When you think about all the moving parts and areas where things COULD go wrong.. They really did a remarkable job with this guy. This is by far the most detailed figure that I own. The way it all meshes together and even the way it moves are all top notch.

With nothing but good reviews and all these amazing pictures i am going to pick this up soon. Looks to good to pass up. It will be fun to see my girlfriends face when she sees this in the display case, she has been loved anything transformers since she was a little kid.

This thing looks even better In hand. For the price this really Is good. I might seal the tyres though as they are quite soft rubber, maybe modge podge like some did with Ed's dome. He now puts my T-800 to shame. Quick phone pic.

Also doing the tail-lights, then head, battle mask and going to cast the Chevy logo for his chest.
Gotta find some brass paint for the other highlights.
