A General Chat about Hot Toys

At the moment the only must buys for me are Jill Valentine, Berserker and Falconer Preds. Abigail is very tempting to get but I still need to get STARS Chris and BSAA Sheva to complete my RE5 line so she'll have to wait Luckily I have the funds for Jill allready saved up and Berserker doen't come out till late in the year (Dec for the US is my guess) and Falconer not till next year so that gives me time to pick up at least one of the other RE5 figures I want.

Commander Cody (undecided)

I'll pick up Ghost Rider, Hellcycle and Mark V once announced otherwise, I am good for the moment. Next summer when GL, Thor, Spiderman 3 and Cap America figures hit

They haven't made an official announcement. I wonder how much it will cost if it's sold together..

I think they would have to sell them together. Its not like the pod or tumbler. Those were complex and could be combined with several Batmen. GR and his motorcycle are connected and I'm sure he's a one off. Separate they run the risk of being stuck with extra cycles. Its also an old license so this would help keep the cost lower to off set the higher price of the two together. But shoot, its all speculation.

Hmmmm....I did a deal with a Hot Toys known vendor for Whiplash and Persues and now he's going back on the deal despite me doing the work. Work he was happy with and can use.

So I am not a very happy chappy right now.
IF this deal does fall through, I will name and shame that well known Hot Toys vendor!

Hmmmm....I did a deal with a Hot Toys known vendor for Whiplash and Persues and now he's going back on the deal despite me doing the work. Work he was happy with and can use.

So I am not a very happy chappy right now.
IF this deal does fall through, I will name and shame that well known Hot Toys vendor!

That totally sucks, man!!!
I reall hope the deal doesn't fall through and everything works out!!!

We agreed to me designing some promo materials like comp slips, cards and posters. I did it and he thought it was great.
He then expected me to get that material actually printed as well.
Despite emails saying that I would not.

It's like, would anybody get a plumber or a carpenter to do something and then after the job is done, say "oh, that wasn't I thought the deal was for so I am not paying".
I wonder what a plumber does in those situations?!

He then expected me to get that material actually printed as well.

It's like, would anybody get a plumber or a carpenter to do something and then after the job is done, say "oh, that wasn't I thought the deal was for so I am not paying".
I wonder what a plumber does in those situations?!

Well I know a windowman, who puts in new glass windows, who had something like that once. The clients absolutely refused to pay for the glass he was just supposed to deliver, not put in, because they initially said some friend of theirs would put it in. In the end he smashed the glass in front of the clients, since it was custom made and couldn't be used for anyone else anyway, and drove away.

Not sure if that's the best solution, but I guess you'll feel pretty awesome after doing something like that...

Yup. HT said Alice from RE4 is a definate and quite possibly Alice from the whole series. I persoanlly hate the RE movies with the exception of the first because they _____ out and mis-cast the game characters to try to make Alice look cooler but that being said, I'd love a figure of Jill or Nemesis from Apoclypse.

Well , that's the trouble with art, once the person has it, you cannot do a thing.

I think we got it sorted now though so fingers crossed.

It just not a nice experience having to justify yourself like that and just arguing with people in general.

Yup Tracker and Classic are must gets too but, I just didn't add them because they have not officially been announced.

Got some private commissions on the way somi will use that money to try to get Iron Man M6, Falconer and Royce, in that order.

Don't want any more releases this side of Xmas.

Have you got berserker already on order Eamon? ..i have some po's to pay off soon ..really thinking about selling the p1, don't think i can wait to see specs on the classic..i know if i put him up for sale i will have it sold quickly..damn ..what to do..

I hope we see Tracker soon ..and Statham from expendables

Also once i have all my po's out of the way i'm changing dealers ..i will be buying from angolz only from now on(unless i see an awesome deal elsewhere)
