A General Chat about Hot Toys

I think kids prefer console games nowadays. When i was a kid it was me action figs and the garden most of the time, or running around the woods playing soldier or something like that. If i had seen these figs when i was 8 you'd have to drag me away with a tow truck

Makes me wonder if the only people buying figures in the stores are adults?

Hmm? ..i wouldn't say so ..i'd say hot toys main buyers would be mid teens to adults ..but there would certainly have to at least a few kid collectors... ..That sounds wrong.. "kid collectors"

We had video games too as kids but I wonder would we be the same if we were kids now?!

Pac man, VIC-20 and the Commodore 64 when i was a kid and they hardly compare to nowadays for me anyway

I was into transformers as a kid ..loved lego and k'nex ..actually have been thinking of buying a big ow'ld bag of k'nex for the good old times!

Yeah Action man, Action force (GI Joe) Star Wars, Lego, Transformers, He Man, Marvel figs, little plastic soldiers and cars all good fun loved em.

Was raised in a 3rd world country so the toys I had when growing up were those dollar store figures. I don't think I could be running around with a Hot Toys in my hand. Would probably keep it inside the box and just look at it every minute or so, haha.

I will say collecting Hot Toys and the others is just awesome. Awesome. Im so glad Im this age, with this job, to be able to collect the stuff I always dreamed of as a kid.

So got my strip lights from ikea the other day ..shame there is only 4 per pack ..i bought two of them so i managed to light up both the top and middle shelves of each detolf(2 per shelf) ..light still manages to reach the bottom glass shelves but its less "wow!".
There expensive but soooo worth it ..the light really has an awesome effect on the bdm3's paintjob.

I want to hold off on taking pics for now ..as once i get in a few more figs i will be make a thread on my whole collection and post the pics then.

They cost 50 euros each ..very expensive, but worth it.

Ideally I would love his horseback gear but I think the temple theft gear and his battle at the end with the horned helmet and axe (both of whom I have btw).

I also think he should come with 3 swords. Atlantean, Father and broken Father swords (which also I have)

Ohh wouldn't it be grand!!!

yes I was boasting about my mighty Conan props!

That would be sweet what would you like to see included with a conan figure.

I'd like to see the following:

- Atlantean Sword
- Father's Broken Sword
- Swordsheat for Atlantean Sword
- Axe
- Removable leather vest, like he wears in the picture in my sig
- Wolf-fur cloak he wears when he encounters the Witch
- Some of the armblade weapons he uses as pitfighter
- The red jewel he gives to Valeria
- Maybe a helmet

Ya Suckerpunch, i'd love a figure of Baby Doll ..and yes they have the license for each resident evil film ..so expect multiple versions of Alice from them,the first one i imagine will be form afterlife,and i'd say they will work backwards from there.
