It says "its not our fault the new figures have girly ankles" in an Arnold accent.
I would have said calves but I couldn't type it in Austrian.

Those boots might also be a tad loose on the Star Wars guys since they have smaller calves than the old Buck bodies. Those suckers have massive Ahnuld calves.

You're right. The new ones don't have any at all! I've found that on a HT body the boots look better and they are also tight.

Anyone know when this might be arriving?

Wow, this is almost a necropost - no one's said anything about this figure since January, which maybe demonstrates the lack of interest in it. Or are people just more excited about the Indy figure? I do feel this figure would have created more excitement last year.

It's not a lack of interest, just lots of other products going on, new developments, new licenses. We're in the waiting period now. Things always quiet down after the initial preview until something new comes, either convention images or the item starts shipping.

Theres nothing really to talk about that hasn't been said till we get shipping notices.(I for one can't wait)

There are over 1000 posts in this thread... I think there's a little excitement. It's just died down because no one has it yet.

I wonder what would cost more, a Chewie with fur or one in plastic with all the sculpting that would involve? What would people prefer?

A sculpted Chewie would be fine as long as the joints weren't overly visible, even if that meant the figure didn't have the usual amount of articulation. A furry one would be preferable of course but I think there's too many potential QC & production issues for it to be viable and I will be very, very suprised if one gets made in 1/6 scale.

They should use the Richard Kiel body and just put a one-piece furry suit plus headpiece over it - kind of like a tribute to the original creation. Then they wouldn't have to create a special figure. My main concern would then be the fur falling out, like it did with the original Hasbro Bantha.

The exclusive could be a Peter Mayhew head to go under the headpiece!
