:lol

I still can't believe my parents got rid of most of my toys. Especially my SW ones. :(

No kidding. Unless they are buried someplace in the attick at their house mine are gone for good too. :(

But I am glad they at least saved my Atari 2600. :)

My family didn't have to give them away... I destroyed my toys for the most part :lol

I definitely did not have any eye to the future when I played with toys in the backyard :huh

I definitely played with mine, but as I got older (I was 11 when Star Wars came out, 17 by the time Return as released), the more I was buying them to collect.

When I went of to college the next year, my parents didn't think I needed them anymore and gave them away.

Yay, Mom and Dad. :(

I beat the heck out of my toys and loved every second of it, but it would still be nice to have them now.

These were my first arcticulated action figures:

-Geyperman motorista. Spanish version of GIjoe. I really loved this figure when I was about 6. He was my 'teddy bear'

-Airgam boys. Cheap but awesome toys:

-Madelman estación polar. Spanish totally articulated figures about 1/10 scale.

Of course I also liked Secret Wars, Super Powers, GIjoe, etc... but this was some time after.

I would have loved most of these. I never had many toys growing up. I was not deprived or anything, just never had anything more but the generic action figure.

A few years ago they released a 25th anniversary set of these Turtles and to my surprise i saw them at toy store near me and i just had to buy them, here is a pic of mine.I also got Splinter the Rat.

There was also a Re-issued set of Masters of the universe from 2004,and off course,i had to get He-Man:

I loved this sooo much from young even up till now, i still think its the nicest batmobile lol CHeers!!!

That's my absolute grail of any collectibles ever. Sadly it's amazingly rare and to get one in any condition can cost 100's of pounds so it's unlikely I'll ever own it again. The other Batmobile didn't have the canopy so it isn't as good but I still have that one... sadly.

Yes, I picked up Michelangelo and Splinter from the 25th anniversary series. Just like the old days, my local TOYSRUS is overstocked with April O'neils haha :lol

I always had a privileged childhood when it came to getting toys. My dad was in the military and I am the only boy in a family of three children. So while my sisters got girl toys which were usually more inexpensive than boy toys, I got the good stuff. Born in 85, I was a 90's toy kid. I had few He-Man and Transformers but instead got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Aliens, Kenner Star Wars, Mighty Max, The Real Ghostbusters, Street Sharks, . Just about any fad that was in the 90's.

I don't have any pics but my complete A-Team figures set were my all-time favorites. He-Man, some SW's and Ninja Turtles were tops too.

I wanted Shredder as well but he wasn't a part of THAT set in the old days,i think he came in 1988 or something.

The reason i bought Sideshow's Comiquettes is because they remind me of these old toys from my childhood with the white eyes and the expressions, too bad i don't have space for them. They are still packed away :gah:

If I'd realized as a kid how much these would be worth today, I would have locked them all up in a bank vault.
