To me, it's tragically ironic that a pro-life supporter would use violence and murder as way to get what they wanted.

This doctor worked in 1 of only 3 clinics that allowed such late abortions to take place. Putting morals aside it must have been legal since his career was such a long successful one right?

Here's the thing with this, if it was me and my job was being affected by all of these people that would only make me more resolute to do it more and better. If you are affecting such a change and people are using violence against you then you must be on to something... whether good or bad. I would feel like a coward and a quitter if I let protesting people stop me. I can see why he felt the need to continue his career after being bombed and shot- they gave him no other choice... he couldn't save face.

The killer must have been a good Christian. May they burn in their hell.

WICHITA, Kan. – Late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, a prominent advocate for abortion rights wounded by a protester more than a decade ago, was shot and killed Sunday at a church in Wichita where he was serving as an usher and his wife was in the choir, his attorney said.

Killed in a church. Wonder if God told the shooter to do that. Pro-life?

This thread isn't going to last long. Abortion is a personal issue that only concerns the person getting it. And doesn't really need to be on a board that's 95% men since they can't get one anyway. Well, they could if they're crazy like this guy......:lol

It's funny that so many devout religious types have no tolerance of people with opposing views when most religions are supposed to promote tolerance and acceptance.

Somebody post a pic of Tom Cruise holding a scalpel, and then lock down.
:lol

He did late-term abortions on women who had pre-natal testing that showed birth defects and other things, but that wasn't all he did. It's just the media picking out one thing. And what he did was legal, whether people liked it or not.

There's the grey line. Some people just can't raise a child that is going to be a medical and financial burden. Personally, I understand but as you said before it really isn't my choice and I want a vasectomy so... :lol

same goes for liberals. or gay rights groups. Look how that beauty queen was crucified by the media simply for having a different viewpoint, one that is shared by the majority of the US and our current president. And now, back to the less controversial subject, abortion.

Fundamentalists are fundamentalists, no matter the religious affiliation, and they're all indignant, self-righteous loons. Killing people to incite fear is an act of tyranny. That this particular killer doesn't hold a political office changes nothing. He's still a vicious, savage bully, arrogant in the belief that his perspective is the only perspective.

As punishment, he needs to be made to spend the rest of his life in thrall to the family of the man he killed.

Someone killed her?

Taking this mans life was not the Christian thing to do. If the shooting was for some kind on sick vengeance, then the killer should have taken the doctor out in the same way he took the babies out. He should have had his brains sucked though a tube and then been dismembered all without any pain meds.
