Still something feminine about him. He has the same problem as HT Indy, but even more so. The manliner. Still not sold on the likeness. Pass for me so far.
EDIT: Hair looks reasonably good. Could be futzed even better but it's not bad looking at all!

OMG, this is worse than sideshow's from way back... He looks like a tranny...
I am still chalking it up to unfortunate photos. Do his eyes look up like that? thats unfortunate.
based on this pic, how can some of you, that are some of the most critical on the board, think this is a good quality for $250+ figure?? Im sure well get better pics and it looks better because i really want to pull the trigger on this.

Honestly I think the paint is messing up the good sculpt. Those eyes are positioned like he's taking a selfie..

Here, this is where they went wrong. The eyebrows should be lighter IMO, and he shouldnt have the psycho/selfie eyes. Just straight forward in case of Aragorn, he ain't Joker.
Which I couldn't point out earlier before production because you know.. no good close up pictures.
Also the beard should be darker to give him a more rugged appearance.

I'm still wondering how ACI leadership gave the go ahead on this. This line will likely be dead after this release. They will not be able to sustain the kind of losses they are likely to sustain if they go through with this. It is admirable that they tried real hair, but they should have quickly killed the idea after the first prototype. It is a shame, because the underlying sculpt looks decent.
I dont think the problem is the hair. That can be fussed with. Its the sculpt/paint apps. The lines on the forehead look awful. Like you would find on a cheap toy, not an expensive collectible. Well at least it will one the door for a custom Aragorn sculpt to replace this one...

I redid some contrast to make the picture more true to what I hope to be it's actual colors, it's three posts above this one. Added contrast to it, and color. I believe the one I redid with the eyes and brows really looks almost spot-on. It's a shame, really.
Especially considering the price. I recon it will drop in value instead over time.
