Those look like horrid pictures from a fantastic figure. I'm still waiting for better in hand pics, but already ordered.

Very true. My biggest worry up until some of these photos was wether or not I would have the skill to make the hair look good. Painting and sculpting are beyond my ability to improve at least if it is the hair I can swallow my pride and ask my wife for help.

Those photos hurt my eyes. Any figure can look awful if photographed like that.

The forehead lines really look overdone in the photos. Reminds me of the Angel PF from Sideshow that made him look way older than he was meant to look.

The eyes just don't look right either. Why are they looking slightly upward? Any straight on photo doesn't look correct and a photo taken from up higher will probably look better.

Who know guys, the SST superman looks REALLY bad in the first pics, but the few ive seen lately look ok. hope its the same with this

Harsh shadows maybe, but c'mon.. even without the harsh shadows he would still have a forehead that looks cut apart from all the pics we've seen so far. That includes less harshly lit ones.

Cancelled mine, while everything looks really great from the neck down, its the neck up thats bothers me. The sculpt to me is just really lacking, and it sucks because I think its just the hair and not the face but the thing is for close to $300 I don't want an Aragorn where I am uncertain if I like it or something is bothering me, for that price I expect to be blown away.

It is a big ask for $300. I am not even sure why it's so high...maybe likeness rights? I am waiting to cancel until some real decent in hand photos emerge.

I got thinking about hiring someone for a repaint and To mod the sculpt...but being in it for $300, it is not cost effective. I do have a strong love of the character though so it may win out. I am not convinced the asmus offering will be any better.

Wow the face looks great there! Super excited for mine to arrive. I'd much rather the hair be too long and be able to trim it than have it too short and not be able to do anything about it. I was worried about how short it looked in some photos so this is a relief.

I was watching the movie last night... Aragorn does actually have those forehead wrinkles quite a bit of the time. They seem a bit dramatic on this one, but I highly look forward to seeing the better pics later today!

2nd pic looks really good but need straight on shots. Wrinkles work there but the earlier shots they looked too deep.
