I tried to get Vader and the Luke/Han 2-pack shipped together because they both require signatures and my Vader is very slow to ship -- DENIED :emperor. I then kindly asked to get the stormie duo shipped with Piett as it would really help me out as I already pay tax and the shipping to California is the same as if I lived in Van Buren, Maine -- DENIED :emperor. It makes the monkey cry.

Someone said the NL had him in 30 days putting him at shipping sometime in July, but I'm thinking that's unlikely, no notices yet, SDCC coming up very soon, unless we get like a 10-15 notice this week, I don't think so.

Personally, I'd like to see him delayed to be put on the updated Pro, but without knowing how far along he was and where the body was at, it may not really be feasible to swap him and have to stick with the original Pro, but, if they ever do another green/grey Imperial on the new one, a simple neck and head swap and some swapping of rank insignia could easily up his size no sweat.

I could do that too, my concern is the tailoring, will it fit and still look ok on a bigger body. Indy's one thing with his loose costume, but Imperial uniforms are pretty form fitting, we'll see.

I've still got Piett on order, really like him and Tarkin so I don't want to pass and he's not as pricey as a lot of other figures. Be nice to add another Andy B portrait into the collection too, been awhile since a figure's had his touch.

I assumed that Piett would ship this month, as that is what it says on the product page.

Without telling me when he would ship, they said that SDCC orders cannot be shipped with any other orders for US customers (and especially tax paying Californians who pay the same flat rate shipping price that east coast customers do) -- no matter what. I pleaded, flirted, and seduced. But I could not get them to bend that rule. That is just the way they do things.

Damn, I knew I shouldn't have divulged my screen name!!! Although, considering Sideshow has received a steady stream of money from my pocketbook every couple of months for the last 3 years, I'm willing to bet they could care less what I say on here. And yes, even when I give constructive criticism, I still buy their products.

Seriously though, if anyone here is able to combine their Piett with Luke&Han, let us know how you did it!

Really would like Piett to stand by Vader, but money's tight and something has to go. Vader, Toht and now Piett.

I got my notice. I am going to keep him. I love the imperial officer design so I am going to bite the bullet. Will look great with Praji and the eventual Tarkin.
