So I really do like Piett. The likeness is there, especially from certain angles. I do feel like perhaps some of his features are a little exaggerated in the sculpt, like his chin and nose, but if he was a bit more pale, he'd but pretty spot on. The hair could also stand to be more brown and gray, as well. I love the uniform and cloth cap, they're very well done.

However, I'm a little confused as to which hands to use. I distinctly remember him wearing gloves in TESB, but did he wear them in ROTJ?

Yes he did wear them in ROTJ also.

I'm glad gloved and not hands are the same in pose so if you wanted him to hold the gun for some reason, you wouldn't be forced to use the flesh hands and be inaccurrate.

Mine arrived on Tuesday while I was at work.
I have to say out of the box and in person he looks awesome.
I was a little worried with all the negative things being said.
Piett looks great!

Constable Odo?

I almost made a big mistake.
Tuesday night after work, I opened my Admiral Piett and I switched out his hands to include the gloves. There was very little else I had to do, the figure was pretty much cool out of the box.
Wednesday though I was looking at the photo on the box and my figure and there was something missing I couldn't put my finger on, I had the cloth hat on him not the plastic so that wasn't it.
I noticed those silver things, they look like pens? They were missing.
I ran down the basement to the recycle bin and retrieved my Piett box and sure enough there they were in the plastic tray, with the tape still over them.
Let this be a warning, never open your figure when you're tired from work.
All is well now, with my Piett figure.

NICE! Glad you scooped those out before the box was lost forever! I'm looking forward to this guy.

Where's all the Piett pics?

Here's one quick, finished FUTZING him last night. Of course I forgot the pens again.

Seems like his shoulders could stand to be a little wider.

Anybody know which way his belt goes? I have it on the way SS had it on, but I've seen a pic where the little silver dot is on the other side of the buckle. Can anyone confirm which way they wear their belts?

That looks fantastic!
I really need to get Piett soon, then Veers and Tarkin!

Thanks guys!

He really is a nice figure, and VERY OT.

Maulfan, I just got the hat wet and then shaped it best I could. I thought maybe I could stretch the brim out and iron it but that didn't really do anything. The brim is a little shorter than the real Piett but it works well enough.

Now, to get those pen thingies...
