Bear McCreary was the composer on Battlestar Galactica. There aren't many shows that had music like BSG. It would be a very short list.

Not really, your illogical comparisons are silly. I have fundamental reasons for not liking MoS, not superficial reasons like camera angles or, quirky dialogue in 2-second scenes, or a lack of opening credits. If Agents of SHIELD was so far removed from the source that it was essentially Golden Girls, your point would be valid. As it stands, it's just a poor attempt at trolling.

The difference seems to be Nam had problems with MoS's story, character, etc... The question should be did he go in with the intention of hopefully enjoying the film and then afterwards finding he was disappointed?

I had big problems with what Supes ultimately did to Zod. It was untrue to the character. I don't care about Goyer's rationalization, it was done for shock value and to make Superman 'darker' and edgier. It was lazy writing. If you want to see Punisher go watch Punisher.

A number of people seem to look forward to hating Agents of SHIELD every week and talking it down for everyone else. If tomorrow night's episode is a slam dunk will the t ittybabies bother to say "hey, I think that was a step in the right direction".

What other choice did Superman have? Either he died or Zod there was no other outcome. I love people who complain about how Superman doesnt kill. Superman killed Zod in Superman 2! Everyone seems to have forgotten that. Zod fell into the arctic abyss.

Lester left out Donner's footage where Zod, Ursa and Non are hauled off to jail by a snow patrol. The scene is restored in Donner's cut of the film.

If the next episode is good, I'll be the 1st one to admit it, there are some good things with the show already, but plenty bad, and it includes everything, from the cast, to the acting, story, characterization and now that someone brought it up, I didn't even realize there was an actual theme song, and the fact that the visuals are so generic and scream TV SHOW don't help at all.

I don't want to hate on this show, I love Marvel almost as much as DC, and I'm exited for the future of this universe, but to be honest, this show is not exciting nor interesting to watch so far, for me.

Also, just to point out, not to beat a dead horse, it wasn't the 1st time Superman killed somebody, it was far better than the theatrical cut from STM where he does it with a smile on.

Does it matter what issues someone has? thats rationalization to say that one persons reasons are more important to discuss than anothers. Also, I guarantee you there isnt one poster who claims issues with this show that has posted nearly as much here as he has there.

You should probably be a little more realiztic about this thread as well. One of the detractors of the music (A-Dev) has been a stalwart supporter of the show, hes not "looking" for reasons to hate and a multitude of people posted that the last episode was a huge step in the right direction, so you calling people names and making generalizations about people doesn't really make much sense in context of whats come before.

Go ahead, look back to last week, plenty of people said last week exactly what you're claiming they wouldn't.

It wasn't just that, it was him not saving the people, nor helping to rebuild all the damage he helped and in some cases, blatantly caused. A point which was even acknowledged by the filmmakers in a halfassed excuse using "this is year one superman" which completely negates the whole point of growing up with the "Smallville" mentality. But this isn't the Superman thread so it's pointless to rehash a discussion the apologists are just going to use to further troll the thread off topic.

As for AGENTS of Shield, absolutely. There is a certain element in this thread that thinks it's "posh" to hate on popular shows for stupid ****. Especially when there's nothing remotely off fundamentally to warrant a comparison regarding critique in the MoS thread.
