It's been a while since we've had an update on her...

I hope we see this version at SDCC with a release fall/winter 2013.

It seriously feels like Sideshow made some much needed improvements since SDCC.

I can't really confirm, because I don't have any SDCC pics of her, but it totally feels like they improved her face (it's a lot prettier in these new pics) and it feels like they moved her hand closer to her goggles. I seem to remember thinking (of the SDCC piece) that her hand was really far from her face.

Again, bear in mind that's a studio photo with proper lighting, warmer tones, the best use of what's probably the most flattering angle and convenient depth of field even across the face.

Her face only seems rounder now, her eyebrows thicker, her features look much softer, her eyes have a twinkle that makes them more lifelike (and can only be seen on the last SDCC pic below) and —what I think is throwing some of you guys off the most—, the bridge of her nose has completely disappeared on this pic, and we all know it has to be there.

Now, the tip of her nose might or might not have been reworked, as it looked more snub in the earlier pics, but again that could well be the angle. Hard to tell without her nose bridge anyway. It's probably the same, too.

Her hand is also exactly where it was before.

Her makeup is darker on both the lips and eyelids, and that's made a huge improvement.

I only have 2 critiques left; the nails are a bit long, and the boots are too "chunky". I can live with the nails, but I'm not going to lie, I kind-of hate the boots. Still getting her though...

(wish she had green eyes too)

I was hoping it was more than the lighting. That recent behind the scenes video showed how good the Sideshow people are with photos. They need to make Catwoman closer to Audrey. If not, they should just let Adam Hughes make his Power Girl or Supergirl statue in LSF (preferably) or PF form.

I have to disagree with you on this...If AH! does do either Power Girl or Supergirl I hope they're both PFs.

I love the Supergirl on Asteroid image. I'm kicking myself for not getting a remarked version when it was so easy to get and Hughes sketches weren't going for insane amounts. I only put it off because I thought All Star Wonder Woman was coming out and I would need the money for original pages. That never happened. Anyway, I would love a large scale version of the artwork with maybe small changes. Especially since Hughes wanted to work on it with DC Direct and there was the whole controversy about the statue back then.

And Power Girl is Hughes' grail according to him. Sideshow should do Hughes' best work in large scale form.

Of course, both will be crazy town prices. But I just want them. LSF or PF. Wonder Woman too. And Black Canary...Catwoman was up there too if she had the Audrey influence. Maybe it was bad that Hughes mentioned it or that people recognized it. If no one knew maybe Sideshow could get even closer to the likeness without anyone realizing it.

:exactly: and if she were a PF, I wouldn't be $350 impressed either.

This Catwoman would fly off Sideshow's site for $350 at this scale.

Honestly no statue is two thousand dollars impressive. I just don't see why this scale is even something Sideshow actively does. :dunno

For $2000 they need to be flawless and like they stepped out of the movie or comic pages. So far, Sideshow hasn't made one that really gets me yet. Honestly, I really don't understand the way Sideshow is marketing this line. Iron Man and Neytiri are the top ones to me. Working with the effects company on those is a huge bonus. But I watched a bad review of Neytiri that makes me wonder about the quality. Then there is the whole without numbers thing until Sideshow decides to stop production.

I thought Catwoman would be up for order by now since I assumed the decision to make her was based off the release of Dark Knight Rises. Now, they have the Artgerm Catwoman in the works. I assume Hughes or Sideshow is still working on the Wonder Woman PF. Catwoman seems an odd choice now.

I was hoping that the Cover Girls line would have the Supergirl on asteroid but it never happened. :(

Absolutely! :rock:rock:rock

Come on, Savior, as if that needed "mentioning". Do you honestly think nobody would have "realized"? It's an instantly recognizable face. :)
