Two pieces of any flat substrate will do - thick cardboard or ideally, melamine covered MDF sheet.

Depending on the thickness of the paper & how tightly it's been rolled it may take a fair while. I've got stuff that's been pressed for 6 months and it still curls up when u take it out, others come good in a few days.

There's also a few other methods, if you're short of time..

That is interesting I would though the MDF could damage the print. I may see if there is a couple pieces at IKEA I can use. Should the pieces be bigger than the print so it evenly flattens it if that makes sense.

I got my Stouts today and they are fantastic!

Not sure when they will get framed yet. I want to get my Black Christmas one framed first but then these are next.

Yeah, MDF does off gas. Can cause yellowing in time (time as in years). If the sheets are flat and smooth it's all good. Melamine covered sheets are best 'cause the MDF is contained, it's heavy and it stays flat. Most white kitchen/bathroom shelves are made of the stuff I'm talkin about.

Really, some decent pieces of thick cardboard will do & it's cheap. Bigger than the print is a must, protect those corners!

Can I ask why you need to flatten it out in the first place?

Because they roll up & you sometimes get "waves" in the print when you frame them. :dunno If you've ever tried to frame a rolled up print you know why it's easier to have them flat first. I've been driven dead-set berserk trying to frame some stuff in the past.

Both gone now. I just picked up Hellboy 2. My Struzan Hellboy poster is good enough for me.

Got the main one I wanted but did miss Hellboy. Will have to pick that one up on ebay.

Man, these guys gotta step up their operation. These things are far too popular to continue this course.
