looks like the tron edition size has increased

What?!? They do that ?!?! Now granted this time its not a big jump .. 110 to 140 prints .. but thats significant !! I know this means I have a better chance of getting one (seeing that Im on the wait list) But still that kind of irks me .. Has anyone seen them maybe double a print run due to demand? That would for sure effect long term value ..

I am honestly so sick of Sideshow pulling that bs. They have done this on multiple occasions with their statues. Never seen them do it with artwork, but that isn't their main thing.

I want my Thor. Priority Mail should take 2-3 days, not seven.

Regarding Tron: There were 140 copies printed (months ago). There was going to be an edition of 110 and thirty AP copies to go to Disney. Apparently, they decided to include those thirty copies in the numbered run, so they ended up numbering 1-140 instead of 1-110 + AP 1-30. There was a mixup with the numbering when plans changed and Sideshow listed the outdated information. But they did not increase the run or anything like that--there was just a change in the way that the studio copies were being numbered. They didn't change the number that were printed or available to the public.

I am glad they explained it, because honestly I can't stand it when they up edition sizes after stating them up front.

Mondo is always very clear that once a poster sells out, that's all there is. It would have been quite unlike them to increase the edition size after the fact and I'm glad that's not what happened. I don't think we'll see this confusion again from Sideshow.

I agree that Sideshow probably won't do that again. It is just another headache they are asking for if they do. The art print people are just as vocal as people here when stuff like that goes down. Plus Mondo wouldn't here the end of it either.

Please turn off your cell phones during the movie.

That rocks so hard! Wish all theaters were that hardcore :rock

At my local theater one of the dumbass employees actually came in before the movie ended, stood up against the wall and started texting with a bright-ass phone! An employee!

My wife yelled at her to turn off her phone and the people sitting around us cheered :lol I was very proud of her that day :lecture

Best ever. Do they show that at the theater. I have got to move to Austin!

I think they just started showing that one. I am pretty sure I read they debuted it at one of the recent Roadshow screenings. They have a bunch of PSA type videos that they run telling you not to talk or text. They have posted a lot of stuff on youtube. https://www.youtube.com/user/AlamoDrafthouse

Stout's Nihil Novi just arrived, looks awesome and is signed! (my first.. all previous Stout prints I have are the unsigned mondo versions)
he threw in a "A Portrait of the Navigator as a Young Starfighter" mini Grig handbill too.
