Yup, that Kevin Tong print is now sold out. I didn't bite either, so at least that makes my decision easier. While awesome, I just couldn't justify it right now since I'm trying to get some Vanderstelt canvases professionally framed and that is quite expensive.

You passed on which Tong? The Griffon from Alice?

For everyone calling him a ____ think of it like this .. His business = MILLIONS of dollars and his image is a BIG part of his business .. a comment like that could start rumors that hes not "from the streets" anymore and could destroy his business.. So did he react poorly, Im sure .. Id venture a guess too that once he had a moment to cool down and get away from the cameras that he explained his reaction and apologized to his wife .. hell he may have even done it on camera .. But why would they show that .. its not good tv!

Even better .. a Falcon Punch!!!

Hmmm...nope. Don't care. Still a d!ck move anyway you slice it. :monkey1

Really though, is he still trying to maintain the illusion that he's some kind of outlaw street artist? A man in it purely for his art, respect for private property be damned? Barely scraping by, living in a one room shack just so he can express himself without being bound the shackles of corporate America?

You're a product now, Shepard. The secret is out. You've been branded. Copywritten. Mass marketed and LLC'd. We all know you're pulling in mad stacks. :lol

All of which is fine with me, by the way; I like most of his work. Good on him! Sell out, baby! Cash in! Live the dream! I would! :rock

I am liking the two new Del Toro posters being released. I won't be around most likely for Devil's Backbone tomorrow, but hopefully I will be for Cronos when it gets released.

Picked up the Akira variant poster off ebay. I didn't realize how tight those tubes are sealed for the print. Bought it sealed and there is a small blemish dead center of the print. Oh well, it is very cool nonetheless. Here's hoping there is some time before they do any other anime movies...
