I ordered it as well. Having 2 glasses of wine before dinner makes impulse purchases that much easier. So today I've ordered this poster, the dead PF, 89 Batman and 89 Joker. :panic:

:lol:lol:lol Your wallet hates you right now

If #16 is $400 I should be able to get $500+ for #10. :lol

How does this poster compare to the others ????

As far as size? It looked 24x36 at the party and quality wise its as good. Mine is still in the tube to be honest. I haven't put it in my book yet.

Well, I remember it took a little while for word to get around to the Mondo crowd about the Tron print that went up at Sideshow. This will sell pretty fast once the words starts spreading around.

Agreed...especially since West Coast people still aren't off of work yet

Also, at least we won't have to wait for it as it is "Out the door in 24 Hours" :hi5:

Don't count on that. Tron was "In Stock" and took 1 to 2 weeks to ship it.

:lol Sorry about that. Just didn't want you expecting it to ship right away. I just looked at my account page, and I ordered the Tron print on June 2nd. It ended up shipping on the 10th. I'm not saying it's going to be the same case for this, but be prepared.

I am wondering if I should get--What does a Mondo print cost?--The only one I got from them was the Jabba. Crumb was off Ebay

BTW--Was that Jabba the same artist?

Yes, Tom Whalen did both the Star Wars Jabba and the new DC Super Powers print. All the individual Star Wars prints were $50 from Mondo, and they are usually $35-50 or so. Sideshow has charged $100 for both of their prints. Variants from Mondo are usually about $75-85, although the Stout variants are $100 each. So if you think of this new piece as a Stout variant, the price is right. But generally speaking, Sideshow is charging a premium price for the Mondo prints so far.

I don't think so--there was no advance notice or word of mouth. The flippers weren't waiting to pounce on it, and now that it's been up for hours without selling out, they will be hesitant because they won't see immediate demand for flipping. So it will eventually sell out to the fans and collectors over the next few days.

That Star Trek poster for tomorrow is gorgeous, the only reason I'm waffling on it is I really don't like the first movie. But I have been looking for an excuse to blow this Mondo gift certificate I've had kicking around, might as well!

Exactly--this hasn't sold out yet, and they are trying to get four times the current value for it on the secondary market. That is indeed worth a chuckle.
