I just bought this DKR print to to get in on the experiment, but I agree with ya, it still should have been the standard 24x36, but with a color change or something to tell it apart from the SDCC version

I could have lived with that as many of mine are non-variants anyway.

I passed on this because of the size. 16x24 is not a readily available frame size, so it would require expensive custom framing. If it had been 18x24, I would have considered it, because you can get those frames off the shelf. I just wasn't in love with it enough to purchase a 16x24 that would probably never get custom framed.

Another reason I was SMH at this "experiment" :slap

To anyone with a Kong regular print:

Does yours have a little white dot on the top of the window frame in the upper left hand corner of the print? I'm wondering if it's just like that on mine or if they all have them (kind of like the Tron Legacy APs did).

Has Mondo said anything about posters for the other Summer of 82 films yet?

Not that I'm aware of. I don't think they intended on having posters for every film though. I know they are not doing another Tron poster at the very least.

Thinking about selling some of my posters to fund another poster. Hmm decisions, decisions.

Quality > Quantity

That is what I did to acquire the wolfman print. Actually, I still have to sell some more to help cover that bill.... What poster are you chasing after?

The Stout Star Wars set or any of the Monsters i'm missing.

Did anyone participate in this today?

I really liked the NC Winters print, but I like most anything he does:

Also a Laurent Durieux "Big Foot print (Reg and Var) that I thought someone here would of posted by now.

On the variant, Big foot is a little more "hidden" and glows in the dark.

The Tom Whalen Yeti/Nepal travel poster was also pretty cool:

I would have gotten the Durieux Bigfoot if I had known about it. Bummed I missed the Godmachine Alien/Aliens poster from yesterday as well. Haven't been on my game lately.

I never got a shipping notice e-mail, but The Dark Knight Rises poster arrived today. Didn't get the golden ticket, so I guess there won't be an Olly Moss Godzilla poster.

Yeah that Goonies print is weak, though it's growing on me. It's not something that I'll chase after though.

And it looks like there isn't a print for The Dark Crystal screening this past weekend. I'm happy and sad about that.

Well, I'm a fan of that Goonies print, so I hope I get a chance to pick one up somehow. One mans' trash is another mans' treasure!

I saw some better in hand pics and I think its nice. Better than the first pic I saw of it. The gold metallics are nice. I don't think I'll be on the hunt for it myself, but I think it's better than the hate its been receiving so far.

To further that comment I was hoping there would have been a print for The Wall as well. They could have gotten pretty creative with that one for sure.
