Anybody have a print of The Gate they want to sell?

Have it but it's the only Mondo print that I will NEVER sell. That movie was such a huge part of my childhood and they did such an awesome job on the print.

I really like the landscape route that Stout took with the Reservoir Dogs print.

And on a side note, a variant is available, but wasn't ready for last night's show. So for those who are wanting this one, look for a drop soon.

Thankfully, I will be avoiding that mob. :lol Why do Stout's releases bring out the evil in people!?! j/k

Got my Stout Wrath of Khan poster from Postersandtoys.com a few days ago. It's a fantastic poster, and I'm very happy with it. It's also a super low edition number 14/650 and even signed by Tyler. I feel lucky I saw the sale when I did.

SOB that Stout Res Dogs is great. One of his best in a looong time. Might have to snag one before they skyrocket.

I believe the edition size was 700. Plus if you count in whatever the variant is supposed to be there will be plenty to go around.

I think the event last night held 200-300 max, so I figure there's at least 400 regulars left. And that's a conservative est., and it's probably closer to 500. I wasn't there so, someone else can correct me if I'm wrong.

And the variant is set at 250 from what I read.

My guess is that Stout gets the first 200 or so to sell on his own. They probably sold about 200 last night, and so there should be about 300 left to sell on the site.

Do you guys think $175 shipped is a good price for the Taylor creature variant? $110 is the most I've ever spent on a print/poster

I personally wouldn't spend that much until the APs are sold. Usually, prices on the secondary market are lower by then. The first week or two are when the prices can be worst. Taylor's 20,000 Leagues was selling for $300 earlier this year and now you can get it for less than $175. If you have to have it right away, you will pay the price. Right now is not the best time to buy on the secondary market, so I'd be patient and wait for the artist copies to go on sale.

That's true, the Mondo prints are always high at first, then they go down a bit. Only problem is you run the risk of the supply drying up. At least with the lower edition runs. But, I am impulsive and wanted the Dragonslayer. Well, I couldn't wait, and bought one out of the gate for $100. I'm afraid to look at what they are now...

I'd still like a Ken Taylor Alien Egg print to go with my Space Jockey...
