Thanks for the nod, P. :)

I haven't been around much this last week or so -- got a nasty cold that just keeps on given. I'm so sick of being sick.

Anyway, I still check in from time to time. I hope I can be here when we hit 2,000. This has been, and will continue to be, a great thread. Maybe the longest in SSF history too.

I may not be in the class of page one but I did come in on page 3 (with post number 23 -- don't tell Jim Carrey). And here I am on post 1992, a very good year for me.

Yes indeed gdb, '92 is for you! Page 3 is thread infancy of course, just such a joy ALL of us have ridden this epic wave for so long and so well. Cheers to everyone for making it happen!

Hey guys, im a bit too lazy to pop in the DVD, but does anyone know if the Marines's shoulder lamp moves and points wherever they look?

The lamps were fixed on the armor and could be adjusted by hand...

btw, Everyone please remember we are trying to save post 2000 for Wor-Gar! Thanks much.

So they were not automated in the movie? They had to be moved manually?

No, fixed on the armour, the lamp arm had an elbow joint, the lamps were on a swivel and could be adjusted by hand as mentioned.

Ok Wor-Gar, the 2000th post is all yours Bro... Take it Away!

Thanks to everyone here, old and new, who have kept this thread alive with so much enthusiasm and excitement for one of the greatest franchises ever... and certainly the BEST alien/creature design in the universe.
