I'm hoping by the end of next week I'll have Hudson,Ripley and Drake in my hands! :chew

I actually saw one in a store in Tulsa, OK the other day. I think he was $150, but they had him and Vasquez (I know she was $150) and it was a 2 for one deal. If I didn't already have Hicks I would have snatched them up.
so, it's 150 for both of them? please let me know as I may be interested! Thanks.
Yeah $150 for two is a great deal. That's $75 for a Vasquez, I wish I could find her at that price.

I found a deal on eBay about 2-3 weeks ago.I got him along with Apone and Vasquez (all MIB) for $390 shipped (from Spain).

Same here... I'd kill to find a Vasquez at that price. I really wish I would have had the money when these first came out.

Thanks Paul! Yeah, I was trying to set him up in a nice Alien3 action pose... Turned out far better than I could have imagined. Man, I love this figure.

Ah. The brown version is pretty sweet. I have the regular version.

My only two complaints with the figure (both minor):

1) I don't like how the smallest back spike fits onto the back - it's not seamless.

2) The frilly seam where the legs connect to the body. Maybe they're supposed to be tucked into the rubber skin of the body?

But overall - kickass figure.

Thanks for the pics of the brown version, guys.

Just curious guys, why did HT make a brown alien? Was there ever a brown one in AvP?

Oh that's a beauty!

I think HT went ahead with this brown version to get around making an A:R alien. The dog-like articulation of the legs might be to difficult to pull off in a two-legged 1/6 scale articulated figure.

Awesome figure DA, the brown does look really good... although I'll probably just stick with the original gray.

BTW, there's another excellent review from Michael on the Sideshow website... and here's a little taste:

Sorry folks, I can't be bothered sifting through the 200-odd pages of this thread. Has it been established that the Ripley on the first page is merely a repaint of the Hot Toys figure?

the Ripley on the first page IS the hot toys figure! well, at least an early prototype.

Yep, poor one handed Connor. I think I may have to retire him.

Nice Brown DA!
Looks about like the ALIEN RESURRECTION one. In fact, lose the single "headrest" thing behind his head, and except for the legs (Which were double jointed in AR) it is almost exactly that movie version!
You need a Ripley clone and Call now!
But no, there was no brownies in AVP. This was simply a play on the color on the figure. The AR molds were used in AVP by ADI for most of the AVP warrior parts, hence the similarities.

Great shots Josh!
