Yeah, they should consult with Bob Burns since he's got the Queen put up at his house! :lol

I always liked the 4 arms since it made her more insect-like. The legs probably will be molded as pjam suggests because it's going to be extrememly difficult to keep her balanced and standing upright. My McFarlane Queen was always falling over and would never stand up right. I wonder if she will include a base or a stand to help keep her displayed.

gonna have to watch the movie again to see how I feel about the 4 arms now! (i've only seen the movie like 100 times). maybe it's how McFarlane did the arms that I don't like...

I bet there will be a stand. The Hot Toys snap-kit queen has one (and needs it to not fall over) and she's just 11" tall.

Yeah, a stand is key... She's really top heavy afterall, just her tail balance keeping her from just falling over. The tiny hands on the front, I always loved. When she'd get really pissed, they would just flail all over the place. :lol

Totally, like a bug on its back! :lol Loved those creepy little hands!

ps: We should be hitting 40,000 hits today!

Yeah, it was some of the best large scale puppeteering I have ever seen on film. When I was a kid I never doubted for a second that it wasn't really there fighting Sigourney.

40K views? Amazing.

Okay, in anticipation, this virtual round goes out to all the lurkers who have ever viewed this thread but never felt the occasion to post. This one's for you!

:lurking :duff :chug :duff

Maybe I did jump the gun, but it's been one of those days, and it's happy hour somewhere, right? :lol

Lurking good! Sorry, lame I know, I just had to say it.... :lol

btw, I think we already surpassed the 40,000 milestone! Just hasn't been updated in the system yet....

Congrats Wor-Gar! I believe this is the first topical thread to reach this milestone.
It's strange that I was the first one here with a HT Colonial Marine, and didn't post once in the beginning of this thread. :lol

Sorry to cut in on the celebrations guys, but I thought you might be interested to know that all of the Series 2 Colonial Marines & Ripley are on sale now here in Japan. I had a good look at all and I think there's going to be a lot more activity here after everyone gets theirs. I don't want to spoil the fun, but the paint apps on Ripley looked better than I had expected, however... her final appearance is somewhere between the early photo that appeared in this thread (prototype shot?), which looked a LOT more like Sigourney, and the later pix (like on Sideshow's site), which didn't. The basic sculpt is close enough, so with a little repaint she ought to look like the Ellen Ripley we all know and love. :monkey5

BTW, the weapons and gear on the other figs will blow you away!:chew :chew :chew

Thanks , bro! I shoulda known youse guys woulda been ALL OVER this already!:monkey4 I've been jumpin' in from time to time between workdays, but there are just WAAAAY too many pages now to wade through...guess I missed the earlier pix. BTW, have you all got your figures already? :monkey5
