Yup, this Power Loader announcement has caused nothing but problems and now for all of us who pre-ordered it with Flexpay are screwed. I want the combo escpecially since Ripley is a variant and because it's a great value but Sideshow will gladly take 20% if I cancel my order. That's Bait & Switch. I don't blame Sideshow for that but I do blame Hot Toys for not announcing both at Toy Fair so we would have made a more informed decision about what options would be avaialble before Sideshow began taking pre-orders. I think Sideshow needs to make an exception on Flexpay cancellations in regards to this.

Yes, mass confusion but there must be some common sense answer to this. I saw Toy Square change their PL order page to a PL w/Rip P.O. there is no longer a single PL to order. HT has done the same with their home page. I think what's going on is distributers are confused as well, they have to wait to hear from HT before they change anything, so I'm slowly leaning towards thinking the PL comes with Rip now... there is no way they would do this to their consumer base, that is charge 250 for a PL then offer a Pl with Rip for 250 a few weeks later, makes no sense to me, they know collectors will just cancel their single PL orders and order the combo. I'll call Eric @ TS tomorrow if I have time but I recommend everyone calm down until we know for sure just what is going on...

You might be right, pjam. Perhaps the PL will be like the Robocop with Flight Pack that came with the new HS. It's not advertised as such but it's there and since Sideshow has yet to update their product page with confirmation for each of these it's causing confusion for everone deciding whether or not to pre-order them or wait and see. They should have gathered all of the facts (price and inclusions) before taking pre-orders.

Got my Vasquez today and this is a great figure, better than I thought and I just got my shipping notice for Ripley from SS. She should be here later this week, then I just have to wait for the retailers I got Hudson and Drake from to get their stock in.

I am finished with my Hicks repaint and got my extra BDU's in today. I'm just a few days away from Hicks, Hudson will be here tomorrow and as soon as Alter Ego gets their stock in... I'll have my extra Hudson for my DarkArtist USCM custom and Ripley.

Yep, I think this is why it was pulled from pre-order at TF too, they were unsure what to charge and decided to include Ellen as many Collectors will be buying the Queen too, so PL w/Rip to go with Queen. There is no-one to blame for the confusion except HT though, what was I telling you guys all along? The price for a PL was excessive, right? Maybe HT DID get the message. You can all thank me and everyone else who scrutinized the price point later if it turns out to be true, IF.

Btw, I just double checked, the Toy Square PL link now directs you to the combo P.O. What does that tell you?

I have a strong feeling that we will get the combo. Either SSC's information is wrong or Hot Toys' information is wrong. I doubt HT would make that kind of mistake.

I'm assuming you didn't order Flexpay then? I would have cancelled mine immediately and ordered from Toy Square but I don't want to pay the cancellation fees. Let's just hope pjam is right and Sideshow will make an announcement soon, otherwise there's going to be an angry mob outside the offices of Sideshow Collectibles.

I hope you're right. Certainly if HT is changing what you get elsewhere, then SS will follow suit.

Yes, I ordered non Flex Pay. The problem is that there is a cancellation penalty with Toy Square. I hope I can afford this thing when the time comes.

Well I'm STILL waiting for Sideshow to update their info on the Robocop with Flight Pack before I pre-order and they have yet to give us updated product info.

That would be a first: pre-ordering something and then getting an entire extra figure at no extra charge.

And what do you think they want to do, "Alien"-ate their loyal customers? I think this will be a combo, they will keep the orders open ended as you predicted many weeks ago, much like a Jedi, and keep selling these until the Queen is announced, then sell a ton more. Anyway, that's my best guess...
