Very close, Mikey!

The answer: Russ Jorden, Newt's Father

The Jorden family were on a "Mom and Pop" scouting mission when they came upon the derelict Alien ship. Russ entered the ship and was attacked by a facehugger, thereby becoming the first host. This was a deleted scene from the Aliens Director's Cut which ended with a close-up of Newt screaming.

New trivia question coming tomorrow.

I knew that! :D

Psycho

PS. It could have been Ripley in here dream as well! :lol

AWESOME!!! Great work Mikey!!! Can't wait to replace my Apone head with this one! Thanks again pjam and Wor-Gar for putting this all together, and BIG THANKS again to Mikey...This is unbelievably cool!

:chew :chew :chew :chew :chew

P.S. I thought we were getting the ULTRA-RARE 'Sith' Apone head!

:rotfl

Just got back from watching the season finales of "24" and "Alias"... Really frustrating that they just let "Alias" fall apart like they did. Shame on you JJ.

OK, back to Aliens...

You stumped me P. I forgot that Newt's pop was the first to get hosed.

It was a toughie.

Follow up question:

There was a directive to LV 426 to investigate the derelict ship, who sent it?

Carter Burke

Well done, yes, Burke, Carter J as Ripley revealed. :winner

Follow up to original Question:

Who was the first Marine to be killed by an Alien?

Ooh, that could be tricky. Remember that some of the Marines where kept alive for the face huggers!

But I'd say Pvt. Frost as he got flamed and then blow up!

It happened fast, Frost did go early, but not first as I recall.

There was Cpl. Dietrich who got grabbed by the alien but I thought she was kept alive. She was the one with the fame thrower and hit Frost. Then he fell down the stairs and then blow up.

I could be wrong! :monkey3

Answer: Dietrich
who was also a Medic (examined Newt). She took it hard and fast and never reappeared in the film as I recall.

How did Drake die, anyone?

Sorry, no Sith Apone, but YOU get the prototype paint job because you were the only one who didn't write me an email me with changes.
The prototype is the first head I paint. The others are attempts to replicate the work. They're all fine as far as I'm concerned, but I have a special fondness for the proto because it's the one where I discovered the right way to paint Apone up. Hope you like him, because he's on the way!!
