with Hot Toys making all these great ALIENS figures, and the fact that they made the ED-209 for Robocop, what are the chance of them making Power Loader for Ripley? It seems like a no-brainer for them to do it. Plus i don't see it being that difficult for them.

And a great thought! I think many of us are hoping for just that and will see it along with a HT Queen Alien, keep your fingers crossed!

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if Hot Toys looks at Sideshow's Jabba and sees the bar in size raising.

A week ago I would have said (and did say) that there was no chance for a HT QUEEN ALIEN -- just too damn big.

Now, with Jabba, I am one of the hopeful that we will get the Alien Queen and that Power Loader. What a display that would be!

A HT Queen Alien would be awesome! Plus I think it would be real easy for HT to make, cause really the Queen isn't that big. the bulk of her mass really comes from her head and upper torso. everything else is all skinny legs, arms and tail. They could easily make it as a "model" that you assemble together.

I'm quite sure a Queen and a Powerloader will show up somewhere down the road. I don't think size will really be an issue: we've seen that HT can do bigger figures, like ED, also SST has raised the bar -size wise- with Jabba and his throne environment, and let's not forget that DML, 21st Century and DID have all made big pieces of artillery, tanks and other vehicles in 1/6 scale. The market is there for BIG figures and accesories.

On a side note, anyone care to venture when we should expect the announcement of Aliens warriors to go with the Colonial Marines?
I say four-six months tops and we can expect to see first pics online.
We're going to need a dancing alien soon to express ourselves...

I deleted my last post sorry I didn't know about this thread.....ok, I hope SSC will consider releasing a 12 or 15 inch figure to H.R. Giger's adult alien from the classic movie. I know the details and the articulation would be great. C'mon SSC you can do it

Well, I think Drake looks pretty good and Ripley will be just fine after her repaint. My Vasquez stands ready to welcome the custom Hicks and Apone heads onto their bodies. Actually, its a BBi G3 body for Hicks [I couldn't find him anymore] with a "customized" set of armor from an extra Apone. I just need to figure how to make the lock for the front of his chest armor.
I missed out on the Predators so that irritates me [anybody happen to pick up an extra?] but I have high hopes for furure releases.
I already have that custom Hudson head although my attempts to find the body I attached it to have, so far, been fruitless. Alas, when I do find him it seems he'll be donning some redone Hasbro Aliens armor to at least start with.
They need to release some armor and weapon sets so we can build up forces. <hint, hint>

Yep, same thoughts here. Which is why I hope HT (who must have taken some serious flak for the "Apone" head and even more for the "Hudson" generic head following the Apone thing) has now realized how popular Hudson is and is working on a passable new sculpt for him...

Otherwise it's on to FL, Mikey or eBay to fill the void...

Hey Mikey, Wor-Gar said FL will be doing Hudson (and Ripley) heads as you probably know. It looks like Hudson will become another Apone "must do"...

But he won't be released till 1st qtr so we have plenty of time still to work up some system if we get more freaks lined up...
