Hey Mikey, Wor-Gar said FL will be doing Hudson (and Ripley) heads as you probably know. It looks like Hudson will become another Apone "must do"...

But he won't be released till 1st qtr so we have plenty of time still to work up some system if we get more freaks lined up...

And the good news is Drake is completely underrated, apparently the figure drew alot of positive comments from Aliens fans who attended SDCC and saw him up close. Also there is plenty of time for HT to come up with a better Hudson head but it doesn't matter to me, I will make him mine!

Great picture Mikey! Hicks looks much better there than I have ever seen him before. And I'm always amazed at how you do Apone's lips and chin. Wicked job.

Great job Mikey! I am so happy with my Apone as most everyone knows by now and that Hicks repaint is as good as I've seen.

I just have a little problem with the FL Hicks sculpt but that's just me. I know Lonnie is doing a Hudson and hoping it rocks!!! Because, well, you know why!

Good work Mikey! Forgive me if this has been remarked before (thread's to long to check!), but, am I the only one that likes the Ripley form page one with the dark hair better than what we are actually getting from HT/Sideshow?
Mikey, any tip on how to change the light brown hair to the darker hair?? What paint do I use? Or is there a household remedy I can apply?

Well, summer's over, the new toys are all announced, but I want to keep this thread afloat in case anyone has some news of interest...

Or new pictures of their Aliens Marines. I know Les is working on some.

Go to a hobby shop and look for Testors Acryl. Good paint. Find the shade that pleases you most, or several shades that can be mixed and layered for more detail. Try the paint on another head first to make sure you know what you want.

Hicks appears to be looooong gone. Your best bet may be to get the FrontLine custom head and pick up the gear and uni off of ebay. Or get an extra Apone and customize his gear to Hicks. Thats what I did. Good luck.

I agree that the hair was better looking when darker, but of greater concern to me is correcting the eye color. Weaver's eyes are certainly not bright blue! Once that's taken care of, I could live with the light hair color.
