Go to a hobby shop and look for Testors Acryl. Good paint. Find the shade that pleases you most, or several shades that can be mixed and layered for more detail. Try the paint on another head first to make sure you know what you want.

Guess again. Acryl will peal off if you mess with it too much, although it's very durable, and will resist most handling.

I also painted the arms to match the skin tone,rather than the plastic doll look.

Maybe we'll match, then! I've done a few of these heads now, but this is the first one I've put together. What a pain in the ass! I also repainted the hands to match.

Actually, as much as I love many of Jim's sculpts, that one is sorely off for some reason. He can't nail EVERYONE, but he tries. Highest marks for trying. I mean, look at that APONE!
But, I like the Hot Toys head myself. Hair is off, but so....can't see it with the helmet on anyway...
And Vas....I know EXACTLY how to repaint her. She is close...but not quite. And I got a pretty good idea what is quite!
Can't wait to FINALLY get them both!

Reckon a Bishop and Newt are close behind? And an ALIENS Warrior Alien???? (Can't even think that a 1/6 Queen might get done...um...no...that would be just....well...too cool...and too costly!.....but they did ED209.....so....a 1/6 PowerLoader....a Queen.....um....it's fun to dream....)

Heck, even MacFarlane made the Cocooned Woman! Got to have her too! With wiggling chestburster action! Give these Marines a playset man!

Spunkmeyer definitely had it going on with Ferro! I would kill for a Ferro Drop Ship Pilot ("fly the friendly skies" written across her helmet)

And I know you knew about "What are we supposed to do, use harsh language?!" Frost

But most of all someone has to figure out a NEWT.

Yes indeed, you've mentioned Frost a number of times in the past, in fact Andy B first said HT may have given us a Frost Sculpt with the Apone figure, so those of us who went FL with Apone may already have a Frost head. That's why I said I know you knew.

And I mention Newt because I don't think HT will ever make her, so we may all need a custom sculpt! Trevor maybe?

I noticed this trend when I researched Takara Catwoman. I think the Japanese like their female figures to have hand drawn eyelashes. It's a big turn off for me.

Yeah, Hudson does look better, but still not like Hudson... too bad because if it was a good likeness it would have been a done deal. Even though Ripley is odd looking, she is still a must have and close enough (like Hicks) to work.

Pretty much as expected. Drake looks fine to me, Hudson will need a FL head, no doubt about it. Ripley might need a FL head too but it looks like the HT HS is there. I wonder what the amazing Figure Master Les can do with her because it might be better to repaint her than get a new FL head and repaint that, time will tell. Lonnie is doing a Ripley and Hudson HS, right Wor-Gar?

In any case I'm all in.
