To answer your earlier question Les... I ordered my HT Ripley through Alter Ego and Hudson through SSC.... Might end up getting Drake over at Fireside... Try to spread the love so to speak....

what about apone and vasquez Josh?

Personally I think im passing on vasquez coz I dont like the way her arms look. but apone is pretty kick ass.

I can understand all the talk about elbow joints...I really can...because it always looks like scale artificial limbs to me.

BUT, Vas was my first ever HT figure, and she lead the way for all the rest I am getting. I have a warm spot for the character, as well as the toy.
There may be some way of covering her arms with a rubber toy's armskin, in the future, (I haven't figured that out yet, but I did cover the elbows with those provided armwraps, and they're better...) but for now, I say, GET HER! It's Vasquez guys!!!! VAS! You buy her! Smartgun! Attitude! Pistol...ALIENS! Get the girl! Deal with arm issues later.
That's my position on that one.

Don't be so picky. Get the figure for the materials. Arms/bodies can be replaced later. You'll be glad you did.

Well, Apone is a maybe.... But Vasquez is a definite. Luckily she is still available here and there. I was on the fence about her, but after I saw her at Les' place... Really sold me on her.

I very well might end up getting her, just because I have all the marines except for her.... Ugh but her arms bother me. She comes with elbow wraps?

Vas is badass, she was originally written as a male part and survived the bughunt longer (with Gorman who was infirmed for much of it) than any other Marine except Hicks...

PL Note: Although we heard the siren light has a light up function, there are no interior cage lights in the proto to illuminate the operator's face as you can see here...

I'm missing Vasquez too. I've just put her off because of funds not because I hate the exposed elbows. I'd actually rather have Vasquez then Drake, she's the more notable one of the two.
I've been on the SSC waitlist for her for a few months with no conversion, probably a good thing since I have to buy Ripley and Boromir now.

next, if the price DOES go up, will BBTS honor the previous price, or up the prices for everyone?

they have no cancelation policy at BBTS as long as the item hasn't shipped or charged to your card (i think).

From what I've read the Alien Quadrilogy is the best set.
