Yes, in fact they removed the concrete barriers from my street yesterday... Orange to Highland opens tomorrow I think. I'm going to take a break from my current project to see The Doors honored with their star on the Hollywood Rock of Fame in front of Virgin tomorrow morning... long overdue too!

Just wanted to give you a cool Morrison related story:

My mom has a house in Alameda near Oakland. There's a comic book store there - or at least there used to be one. Apparently a young Jim Morrison used to hang out at that store when it used to be a book store and he had a habit of doodling on the pages of the books.

So in the mid 90s - I went to the comic store and the guy there showed me some drawings that he said were Morrison's. And he said that there's a lot of used books floating around the bay area that has Morrison sketches in them.

Would be pretty cool to have one of those doodles, huh?

Anyways - just a neat diddy. Back to your topic.

Thanks, Nash. It's weird - I can never seem to have two HT figures at the same time.

First I had Bats - then ordered Clubber Lang from an eBay seller and the deal fell through.

Then I got a friend overseas to get a ED209 - and that fell through.

Now I'm gett the Alien figure tomorrow - and yesterday - someone steals the BATs!

I'm truly sorry, Nash. I was bummed all night.

I have the Tak Bats, and frankly I never thought I'd be excited to get the HT Batman, but after seeing Howie's pics and your deal I was hooked. not to mention my recent addiction to HT Masterpiece collection figures.

I'd be lying if I said I wasnt bummed that Im not going to get it from you since they are pretty hard to come by these days, but it's going to be ok. I just hope you can sort things out on your end. I've had my car broken into before and it certainly is not fun.

Yeah, I'll probably do just that!! As a placeholder head... Paint the hair correctly, add the Hudson love patch facial hair and scruff.... Might work for a while... We'll see.

there are always things that can be changed on a sculpt, some more than others. I've already picked up on 6 things that I could change to make that Ripley better already...... plus the paint, obviously

Hunky, may have a project for you to consider.... a bunch of us are desperate for a big hair T1 Sarah Connor, when The T2 Sarah is released 2nd qtr please consider using that HS.... as a T1 Sarah will never be made IMO I would hope the amazing Trevolver (Trevor Grove) might not mind using his superb sculpt too much to realize this... and not too tough I would think, remove bangs, add big hair sculpy to her head, voila! Let us know please...

You probably won't be interested, but I know a shop in Osaka that still has at least one Hicks (saw it today, in fact), for about $125.00. I'm sure that's more than you want to pay, but at least he's still in stock... I'm sure you could do much better on fleabay, but if you're interested, let me know. The postage cost is another matter, and that ain't cheap either, I'm afraid...

Rip? Not sure. I like the sculpt. BAD paint on it now, but.....
Remember my Art Buck? Not too worried about a Rip that is at least, in reach of Sigourney's features from the get go.

Darren, you might work up a later movie version...all sweaty hair and all...
Let's say...in PL QUEEN FIGHTING MODE....can't imagine anyone would EVER need that version!
