After the success of the game I'm hoping they do a sequel.

What would you guys like for a sequel?

I'd like a scene of a Chestburster and hunting it. Should they take it planet side?

Perhaps a sequel could cover Newt's survival on Hadley's Hope from when her father is facehugged to when Ripley and co. arrive?

The more I think about that the more perfect it seems. There would be no pulse rifles or marines obviously, and if you're playing as Newt you're at an even greater disadvantage, so the terror factor is very much alive. Just imagine crawling through small vents trying to get the **** away from the aliens.

The only problem I can see is how it would end. What would be the point? What would be the ultimate goal?

Maybe you could also play as a random colonist, watching the whole nightmare unfold as your neighbor is brought back into town with some "thing" attached to his face.

I'd like to see the story with Amanda continued, because I love her as a protagonist. But, it probably wouldn't make sense to have her encounter Xenomorphs all over again, after the incident in Sevastopol.

Maybe... Sega could do a survival-horror game with Predators next.

Amanda was a serviceable protagonist but there wasn't a whole lot to her. Aside from one or two cutscenes and moments the could've been a non-Ripley

Same here was scared to even move in the game the tension was great surround sound is a must.

I seen that earlier...... amazing. I really want a sequel, hopefully it will be announced Monday, development starts Tuesday, Trailer Wednesday, Packaging Thursday and arrives at my door Friday so I can play it for the Holidays

It's a proper game. And I do like that this thread started way back to pre-emptively slate it

Started a Nightmare playthrough and at communications now. Made it through the finding the door hack tool section without getting hit so still waiting to see the full effects of this difficulty.

Also I was reading the Isolation forums and it sounds like a Queen was discussed when making the game.

“We wanted to imply that a Queen was on board but it didn’t feel like facing off against a boss Alien Queen was very… “Alien”. We were caught in a riddle of, “If we show an Alien Queen, the player will expect to fight her” and “If we don’t show her, people will ask where the eggs come from”. In the end we figured it was best to preserve the suspense and mystery by not explicitly showing her.”

I’m a huge fan of the creature but I think they made the right choice in leaving her out of the first game. They did an excellent job of making the Alien terrifying again. I feel the Queen would have overshadowed all of that.
