how are the height differences between the palisades and sideshow queen aside from the base? I heard the palisades is taller than the sideshow piece.. But sideshows base is tall so it might make it seem taller.. Thanks for your input

Thanks for those. That base height helps a lot, but still not quite 1/6 compatible IMO. I was going to change the base to something more organic, so that would drop her down a bit.

The queen is in. She's VERY well packed and the piece itself is pretty sturdy. Excellent piece, she's a keeper.

What would you retouch? I had to cancel her because of money issues, but I have a friend/dealer who can hook me up with one for about $340 out the door if I can scroung up the money in time.

I'd do some minor sculpt on the lower jaw area. Mainly the shape of the chin and the rear of the jaw(as it should comes out more than the current look). And give a her a slightly matte look. I'll do some photoshop tests to decide to go for it or not.

$340 is an awesome deal, I'd say go for it. I got mine for $389 shipped.

Even the 1:4 scale Aliens Queen is the same. Chin lack & upper buck teeth.

Jay Leno chin. Yup, the scale of the teeth and placement is also off. Those can be fixed too but requires a lot more work.
