Nothing to be distracted by now.

They’re making everything today, including Avengers.

It’s not that they were over the moon about the Avengers product, but that its customers were, so it’s what they fixated on, as any business would.

Equal attention on product since there is no majority focused on one thing. People complained about how much they focused on Nolan’s Batman films, then Snyder’s. Both of which were previous focal points,
as that’s where the money was.

I just want the Big Chap 2.0, Aliens Ripley w/ Newt, and Prometheus Shaw and David. For Romulus, I wished they’d make Rain and Andy to accompany Scorched. I don’t think I’m asking for much 😅

Already have the grail figure, Alien Ripley.
big chap 2.0 will be a repaint and you will like it :)

Getting quite worried here the HT Scorched Alien figure is still not up for preorder. Really hoping this is not another Fugitive Predator or Powerloader 2.0 situation where the prototype was made and then abandoned altogether....

I Think it will go up at somepoint and maybe in line when it hits Disney + which is soon. Might be waiting for the extra promotion that will probably come with is my guess

I feel pretty confident it will go for PO. Romulus was very successful and the proto created a fair bit of buzz.
Fugitive was seemingly abandoned after The Predator turned out to be an abominable mess and did poorly at the box office.
You can never be too certain with HT but I'm not too worried yet.

I reckon we have nothing to worry about. Like the comment above this figure did create a lot of hype within the 1/6 scale community.

The only figure I have doubts for right now is the Jungle Hunter 2.0 as they didn’t really mention it again on their instagram posts when they uploaded the photos of it and the thing that made me question if it will ever be made is that they did mention other figures on those same slides which is meant to be in the pipeline

So stoked they added the retractable, “extendable” inner jaw. It was going to be a make it or break it situation for me if they didn’t include it, but they did, so this is coming home!

Alien is my second fav IP behind SW, and while this is no Big Chap (which I would’ve rather had as a 2.0), I loved Romulus and want to represent that film. This will also be my first HT alien figure and it’s much better than the outdated BC. I won’t be displaying it with my HT ‘79 Ripley though, that’s just not right…. I need Rain now. I’ll take Andy too. But give me Rain please, Hot Toys.

I intend to display this as the main “Scorched” alien and I prefer how it looks with its jaw closed. Unfortunately however, Hot Toys didn’t include a single picture of the scorched/battle damaged carapace with its jaw closed. But I love everything about this set: the alien itself, the swap out features, the base that’s actually quite good for once from HT, the wired tail and the articulated facehugger. It feels like a complete release.

This year has been destroying my wallet, but this is a must have :lol

Yeah this is an instant PO for me, the figure itself is gross and awesome but the diorama base is such an added bonus. Plus on FB just 12 minutes after release it was up to 1.9k likes which I feel like for an alien release is huge! So maybe some hope for other figures to come.
