All kidding aside, even if you HATE Alien 3, the fact that someone actually wrote this absolute drivel is baffling. It's the worst thing in the Alien franchise since AvP-R.

For me, the Alien series ended with Aliens. There was no Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien vs. Predator spin-offs, and certainly not this lame sequel of a game :ignore:

Maybe they will patch it later....?

Haha! I loved that review.

I'm sure its been asked already, but if this is part of official canon - how the hell is the colony on LV-426 still intact just as it was before the ermmm nuclear explosion at the end of the film???! Is the nuclear explosion in Aliens not canon now??

Also, answer in spoiler tags - what marine from the film has survived?

Their excuse for how Hadley's Hope and the Derelict remain intact is that the explosion blew downward into the planet. :monkey1

And it's
Hicks. Why is this in spoiler tags. Everyone knows this. Apparently Weyland-Yutani boarded the Sulaco at some point and kidnapped Hicks, replacing him with a random person. For no reason whatsoever. And they didn't see Ripley sleeping the whole two-four feet away.

Just watched that review as well and one thing that stood out to me was the aliens' AI in the demo footage he showed. I never paid much attention to the demos but holy ****, they acted so realistic. Staying on the ceilings and walls, maneuvering very fast and intelligently, etc. Now I'm even more disappointed. That would have been amazing. How the hell did they go from such excellent AI to this?

WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no need for spoilers. Everyone knows this

Here is a fun review from Amazon. :lol

I highly recommend this game for both Alien and non-Alien fans. From the very beginning, the game feels like a sequel to the 1986 film. Every attention to fine details have been made to make this game look and feel like the player is in the middle of the firefights on LV 426. The graphics are great, sometimes so much is happening on screen that the game lags here and there... Not horrible, but noticeable. I played this game's campaign on co-op with my cousin, and that is where the game really shines!!! Multiplayer co-op play is excellent and can have up to 4 players. Best yet, bonus content will include new campaigns, maps, multiplayer styles (such as survivor) and other great stuff. I was using Ripley's handmade flamethrower pulse rife grenade death machine gun last night and it ROCKED!!!

The voice overs include Michael Biehn (Hicks) and Lance Hendrickson (Bishop). Great sound effects captured from the film as well as stunning landscape environments. Hopefully gearbox will patch some of the small glitches that occur n the game, but like I stated, there is a ton of stuff happening on the screen at once. Buy this game... You will not regret it... mostly...

He's going to eat his words if he loses his job. It doesn't look good for him to be on the defensive, when he practically lied about product just to sell it.

While I agree that the end result is pretty insulting, I would not go so far as to want him to set down...as much as this game is not good (at work so gotta be nice here), I would always love GBX for the Borderlands series, so my hate of this game is somewhat tempered by my love of that series
