But the Predators don't hunt on an even playing field by any stretch, or at least didn't in P1. Even when he took on Arnold, he did it when he thought Arnold had no weapons, and he had a tremendous size and strength advantage. Should be very very hard for a human to kill a Predator. But that's just my opinion, and certainly, most of the movies with Preds in them (P2, AvPs, Predators) think otherwise

I like that this is now a Predator movie thread.

Im sure all preds have their own spin on what a good hunt is just as human hunters aren't all alike. Maybe the Falconer pred fancied himself a bit of a swordsman and wanted to put the human in his place. It's not like the Yakuza won a blow out victory, he too died a few seconds after the pred did.

He wasn't Danny Glover, he was the best cop LA has ever seen. Which makes him a worthy opponent for the predator.


The Falconer vs Hanzo duel was entertaining, but not very believable. Tracker and Falconer were completely wasted in Predators.

That pred racked up alot of easy kills, coked up drug dealers who prayed and sprayed autos and cops with hand guns.
It was rediculous for that pred to shrug off those point blank shot gun blasts. That was stupid.

I'm not saying the drug dealers are on the same level as Arnold's team.

For his age, it being the first time he's hunted humans, etc, he did a great job. Took out some of the best cops in LA, King Willie, dozens of his men, Scorpio and his gang who had been absolutely destroying the cops earlier, and Keyes' group.

Am I the only person that thought Predators was a good movie? It isn't a classic, but it was certainly deserving of a sequel IMO.

No you're not. But it's not a good movie. It's a good script that was f_up hard near the shooting.

Predators was probably really good on paper, but the director completely ruined what could have been a really good movie.

The movie sucks in the first half an hour because they take too long getting to know each other and getting to know the planet. That makes the first half of Predators to be dull.

They were also trying to rip off the original, but they failed, because the original Predator has some action at the beginning, when Dutch team destroys that camp site where the bad guys were.
Then the Predator attacks,

in Predators you just have the group wonder around talking to each other, completely different stories, the direction the first predator had did not work in PREDATORS because they were not going after anyone like in the first one.

I love, LOVE the last half of PREDATORS but getting there is pretty dull. Besides NOLAND Sucked.
