Same here...Akira was the first anime I ever seen, Ninja Scroll was the 2nd and the first one I actually owned and just couldnt beleive what I was seeing.

I usually don't watch anime series besides a few movies and DBZ, but I'm getting into Naruto and Bleach, more of Naruto. Pretty cool.

Naruto reminds me of a young goku. I just started watching it on Netflix and there are over 500 episodes, I don't think I'll finish watching all of it.

I'm starting naruto after corpse princess

Naruto is a great series. Just beware that after the first arc, it has more than 100 episodes of filler that can be skipped over. I actually stopped watching the anime and went with the manga since I couldn't stand the wait anymore. :lol

But as for Naruto being like Goku, most protagonists in a shounen manga are very similar, i.e Natsu from Fairly Tale, Luffy from One Piece, etc.

I saw one series on streaming netflix that had 179 episodes :monkey1

My bad, I just took the word from my co-worker who is really into it and said that there is 500+ and since I just started I'm way behind.

I don't think I'll be able to watch it all without skipping.

Bleach and Naruto are cool series if you enjoy fighting.
:exactly:

Does anyone here watch Samurai Champloo?

Just wondering if I could get some feedback on what it's like and if it's worth the $41 amazon wants for the complete series on blu ray.

Its easily worth the $41 for the seaon on blu-ray. I have all the dvds and bought them at basically $20 a pop when it was first released and i'll probably end up getting the series on blu eventually as well.

Great style, great stories, great character designs, great music. A really awesome series. One of my all time favorites.
Mugen the wild vagabond ronin who follows no rules and does as he pleases, meets up with Jin a ronin who tries to live by the bushido (samurai code) but hanging out with Mugen gets him into a lot of trouble in most cases. While they meet up with Foo who is looking for her father. The samurai who smells of sunflowers. Along the way searching for her father, they get into some misadventures so to speak.

^I'd agree with all that. Samurai Champloo's a solid series.

Did you like Cowboy Bebop? Champloo's made by the same people, great action, great humour, solid.

I was afraid of that. :D
And now I'm going to try and find the lowest price on this set.

Thank you for the feedback.:hi5:
