I hate the tapered band, not only is it not accurate but with the high profile face it looks too feminine. Although I will say that Noble had a nice sale on their Power Battery and having it in hand, I love it.

I'll be honest, I think it's stupid to use someone's sexuality to sell comics as some sort of "Shock Value".

However I'm also disgusted by the amount of bigotry I've seen towards it.

Yeah I agree. I think re-introducing someone as gay who has a wife and kids isn't the best way to go about it as it just plays up to it being a choice, which it isn't. Perhaps they shot themselves in the foot there eh? I still think its pretty cool though. There was a first for everything - first female superhero.. first African American superhero.. and it's a part of life. People who get up in arms about it clearly have bigger issues than worrying about a comic book.

Yeah, it's a well known fact that the Silver Age Flash was a closeted homosexual. They should have just made that more explicit in their stories, and no one would have complained.
