The edition size was about 35 total. Howard is a member here so you could always ask him. There was a rumor going around a few years ago that the bust went into a second production run but I haven't seen any proof.

Be careful of the dye that is in the shirt. It can bleed into the head and possible the body

yes, it was leather in 1st and cloth in the 2nd....

thanks for the warning....probably i may soak it first and let all the dye out...

Maybe just try to get the HT head and use an ACE or normal HT body for the first HB. Just paint it red. That way you won't have to worry about the shirt.

Hey guys, just giving you all a heads up if you are considering
buying the Angel of Death 1:1 bust.
I recived mine yesterday and I must say that I was really excited
about this one. This was what I received.
Right shoulder & left shoulder

Center of head/crown

Top of head/crown

This bust was an absolute disaster its like the Iron man fiasco
all over again. It was that bad that when I picked it up out of the
stirofoam I could feel air bubbles everywere under the paint, and it was
continually cracking under the weight of my finger tips.
Lucky for me I have a top retailer ,I'm sending it back at thier expence.
I was offerd a replacement but I dont think I can trust this line now,
who's to say the paint wont peal later on in the future.
Instead I'm having this bust replaced with the Queen alien facehugger
maquette. It's a damn shame that SS overlooked this coz' it
really is an awesome bust. SS need to step up their QC big time, there
was no primer on this bust at all.
Anyway just thought I'd let you freaks know. Oh and Its my first return..

I have the same kind of paint flaking off on my Wolf bust. The paint on it is flaking off near the edge of the neck seal. Not acceptable on items that cost as much as these do.

Looks like I'll be removing that bust from my want list now. Here's to hoping the maquette from Gentle Giant still sees the light of day so I can have an Angel of Death in my collection

Sorry to hear about your bust. This bust happens to be my favorite piece I own. So far, I have not had any trouble with mine.

Definately not something you want happen with something so expensive.

Well this is upsetting, since I JUST bought mine from BBTS.

It'll be here in a few days. I guess I'll have to just wait and see...
