Does anyone know anything about this Hellboy book and figure set?

Or has this Bowen bronze version been discussed?

I absolutely love that Bronze bust....:drool :drool.....just always seem to have other pieces coming and can never quite afford to make that splurge. :monkey2 I'm starting to like the Mezco animated line more and more.....what to do what to do.....??? :lol :lol

I know nothing about the book and figure set....I just bought the cloth hard back (library edition, I think it was...or something like that) plus I have them in trades....so I'm going to try and not buy another set of the same comic.

Me too... I'd LOVE to get that bronze someday. :monkey5 :monkey5 :monkey5

I hear that the two animated movies will be released as a set coming July 1st... with an added figurine. Does anyone have a picture of this figurine?

I haven't seen it, but I hear that it's a Mezco Hellboy with a cigar in mouth sculpt. I don't own any of the animated films, so I'll definitely try and get the set.

do you mean the mezco comic line? the animated line were done by gentle giant. which were surprisingly good.

BTW, if you are interested in the mezco comic line, send me a PM

P!tu. What the hell have you done to Kronen? Totally disheveled attire. It looks to me like you caught him on the crapper, and he wants his own pants back. I'd be pissed too.

Same one that came with the Blood and Iron Best Buy Exclusive. I have the BB Version it kicks ass!

While this is a nice looking piece, with a different expression, which I like. I don't like the way his horns are done, or the way the chest meets up with his abdomen, or the way the bronze effect is recreated. Other than that, the price is right.

I agree with Proto. Thanks for posting. I wouldn't have been aware of it otherwise.

That post just makes me want to say one thing. Bring on Hellboy 3. :rock

Yeah, too bad GDT will be spending the next 4 years in a Hobbit hole. :monkey2
I'm happy for LOTR fans (I'm a fan myself) but I'd much rather get a couple of original movies out of him in that time. I can't help but feel like he's just playing in PJ's sandbox. They'll make tons of money though, so at least Guillermo will come out of it with more creative and financial freedom. Maybe we'll finally get At the Mountains of Madness. :naughty
