Girlfriends parents got me the UCS Slave 1. Going to build that bastard one New Years since the Ms is away.

I put together my Saturn V set over the weekend, this has to be the best set Lego has ever made! It doesn't even look like Lego when it's all put together, has well thought out features, and was a thoroughly enjoyable building experience, the designers created a work of art.
I also can't believe how inexpensive it was, this is just $20 more than the Resistance Bomber and looks like it's three times the volume.

If you don't already have this set, you really should pick one up!

My son got the big BB-8 with his Christmas gift cards and we built it yesterday. What a great set and a lot of fun to play with afterwards!

I own the BB-8, it looks great motorized! But I'll just stick with the stock build.

Ouch. Would probably be easier to take everything apart and start new than try to figure out what goes where on a partial build that size.

I checked out Walmart and Target, Lego isle was picked clean, managed to get the Republic Fighter Tank with Aayla Secura for $13 though!

Also Mega Construx has a new wave of figures out. It has Masters of the Universe Beast Man & Teela, Filip J. Fry and Bender from Futurama, and Kirk and Spock from the Star Trek Amok Time episode. I didn't pick any up, had pent too much. All the Teelas had some wonky eye paint so try to find one with good eye paint in person. Beast man looked great and was the most plentiful next to the Star Trek figures. I still have yet to find a Xenomrph for myself.

Some of the Solo Star Wars Sets were revealed. Anyone getting them? I passed up on a Lot of Lego sets for some time now but the new falcon and tie fighter I'm definitely looking into getting. They look nice. Hopefully prices isn't terrible.

It is weird that the front section is completely different but I do like it and the added blue parts. Not sure when coming out but I'll try to get it as soon as I have funds.

That last one is being referred to as a Range Trooper, a new type of Stormtrooper we'll see in the movie.

In other news, picked up Yoda's Jedi Starfighter from Walmart for $13. Unfortunately that's all I could find at my store on discount, the few other sets that they had were full retail, sucks because I would've liked to get Vader's Transformation Chamber for that same price.
