I finally got my black card a couple days ago.

Nice! I haven't seen mine yet, but I'll keep my eyes peeled for it.

Bought Lego Batman Ultimate Batmobile for $70 at local walmart yesterday. The Batwing was $45.

For anyone interested in those, now's the time to grab them.

They had 4 on the shelf. I was waiting until Target clearances the Batmobile and was going to pick them up at the same time. I still need those Zod & Jor-El minifig too! Bought 3 more pakcs and got 3 Black Vulcan! I'm about to turn to ebay for them.

Just came out so should be available everywhere, soon. I'm just glad we get a LOBO minifigure and bike. That's something LEGO doesn't churn out regularly.

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to buy some more blind bags or just break down and buy the figrues on eBay. Part of me just wants to take a chance on the bags because the prices for them on eBay with shipping pisses me off.

It appears there was a glitch in their system with VIPs who have opted out or never consented to physical mailings and their cards weren’t created with the original batch that went out last year. LEGO has since created a new list for those particular VIPs and their cards will be sent out soon.
Also, the rep also stated that any upcoming special promotions that goes with the black VIP card are attached to the VIP account and you don’t actually need to have the physical card on hand.

I called awhile back and argued the same thing. They told me that catalog mailings are different than VIP mailings. Not sure if it was coincidence, but I got my card about a week after I complained. Their excuse for tardiness sounded kinda made up/weak.

That strange building looks amazing

It looks like a fantastic set, and if it's on sale then I might pick the building up depending on the price, it's just not the sort of thing I collect. About the only thing shown that I have an interest in is the Hulkbuster set, hopefully it'l have a ton of prints for the Hulkbuster instead of stickers, hate those damn things!
How Mega Bloks/Construx can consistently give us prints on licensed sets that are often cheaper than Lego, baffles the hell out of me!
