Got my Lego Mustang, and had to mod it a bit already! Forgot how much fun Legos can be, haha.

For those that collect the COD line....
The Mega Construx "Axis Troops" set is awesome, but a little light for the price. Finally after 5 years, we have some bad guys! :lol
The two things I would change is that the set not come with an officer and instead come with four guys in stahlhelms and 2 Machine guns of some sort included like the MP40 or FG42.
I liked the set enough to buy three. The heads have T connectors to the helmets/hats so you can easily switch heads and helmets around and the boots can be removed and switched around. Lots of customizing options.
The set is listed on Amazon as "Axis Troops" but the actual set is called "Enemy Soldiers" FVG04.
It's available for order at retail price now:
https://www.amazon.com/Mega-Constru...sourceid=Mozilla-search&sr=8-1&tag=mozilla-20

I've also heard of people finding the set for retail at Walmart, I haven't seen it myself though, I got my sets on Amazon.

New Star Wars wave is out. Unfortunately this is a really lousy wave. The Slave 1 finally has a Zuckuss fig so might pick it up when there is a sale. Same with the smaller set with the 3 Stormtroopers and a Black Hole trooper.

Looking forward to hopefully a great UCS set next month which surprisingly has not been leaked yet.

Yeah. And they're all like an extra $5-$10 to cover the 20th anniversary figure. The Slave I shouldn't be $150, should be $120-$130 tops. And that smaller Imperial Drop Ship Stormtrooper set should only be $15 like every other set in that size, not $20. I think i'll wait for a sale as well. My local Target has them all and I was just gonna go pick up the Stormtrooper set, but I think I'll wait.

I'm still really waiting to pick up the UCS Falcon. I'm gonna wait that out as long as possible. I'll wait till they announce it's retiring soon. Probably be around for at least another year or so..

Slave One is $120 with free shipping on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/LEGO-Star-Wa...5243&qid=1554144923&s=gateway&sr=8-1-fkmrnull

I had saved a $50 birthday gift card for the Tie Interceptor (Major Vonreg's Tie Fighter 75240) but unfortunately I was mistaken, it's a whopping $70! Damn, it feels extremely overpriced, but I want an Interceptor! :banghead
Not sure if I'll spend the extra $20 on this.

The Slave one on the other hand is a pretty great build, almost on the level of a Mega Blocks Call of Duty set. I might just save up for that as it feels worth $120, probably take me a few months.

You should be able to get 20% off the Slave 1 if you wait just a little while. Probably even cheaper than that if you are really patient. I'm thinking $90 around the holiday season.

Good point, I'll wait on Slave One until then, but with the Interceptor, I might just be stupid enough to get it sooner. :lol
The Snowspeeder, the Black Ace "Interceptor" and the Pod Racer look like interesting sets too, still way over priced.

Yeah, I'll probably wait till the end of the year as well and give it my son as one of his Christmas presents. All our Lego's are really his (but that eventual UCS Falcon will be mine :wink1:), although I build like 90% of them... :lol

I do find building them fun and relaxing and glad I started buying them for him so many years ago. Became a fun hobby, and glad at 13 he's still into it.

FYI the Solo tie fighter is $50 on Amazon right now, pretty decent price. I think I am going to nab one.

I bought that one a couple of weeks ago, It's a great looking OT Tie Fighter, the build is a bit repetitive but still a really good looking model.
The minifigures look great too.

I have the previous version in my large pile of unbuilt SW Lego sets. After seeing the slight improvements on the new Solo one last year I've been tempted to pick it up and sell off the previous Tie Fighter. Same with the X-Wing. Haven't built the previous release, but picked up the new Solo one at Costco in December for a ridiculous $40... 1/2 price!! But I'll keep both of those as they come with different mini fig pilots and you can build them as slightly different X-Wing's.

Congrats, $40 is an insane price for the new X-wing. I sold a couple of the older X-wing sets for a pretty high price on eBay awhile back, then re-bought a couple of the new ones recently for about $60 each.

Got mine a couple of weeks ago and got it built. I'm playing around with some different rims and tires, blacking out the grill area, adding colored lenses to headlights and foglights, etc. I still marvel at the engineering that goes into designing these things to make them look right and function. Amazing.

I picked up the same deal at Costco. Also just recently picked up a complete used Poe Dameron X-Wing on Ebay for $42.
Picking up used sets can save you considerably, issues are that you run the risk of missing bricks, badly applied stickers, and the sets usually arrive assembled, Kind of takes the fun out of building them away.
Luckly the Poe X-wing is perfect condition and 100% complete.

I completely forgot about the Lego Endgame sets that also came out on April 1st.
Ultimate Quinjet (76126) 838 pcs at $80
Vonreg’s TIE Fighter (75240) 496 pcs at $70

A difference of 342 pcs for $10 more. Also, some of those bricks with the Quinjet are quite large by comparison with the TIE.
Yeah, those Lego Star Wars sets are way overpriced!

I think it would be wise to wait for all of them to go on sale.

Heads up!!

The new Avengers Endgame sets are on sale, 20% off at Target.... and I got Amazon to price match!

Here are the new sets on Target:
Iron Man Hall of Armor (76125) $47.99:

Strangely enough, the Capt. America set is listed for retail on Target's website, but it's on sale at Amazon. I have heard that the set should be discounted at the actual Target store. The War Machine Buster is at full retail on Amazon, but I'll submit a lower price notification on Amazon shortly and they might price match that one too. The Compound set (76131) is full retail at both websites unfortunately.
