BrickVault has a very good, honest review of cloud city posted on YouTube.

The set just looks wonky to me and the use of stickers instead of prints at this price point is inexcusable. I have not skipped a Star Wars set like this in years but I am going to hold off on this one, it's at least a hundred bucks too high. Maybe next year this will be on sale for around $250. The minfigures are pretty nice, if not for them I would not have any interest at all.

Yeah I don’t get why LEGO doesn’t have more printed pieces in sets like this, especially when things like the small Juniors sets and those craptastic Brickheadz sets have all printed pieces. Especially parts like on the Slave I and Cloud Car.

I’m okay with stickers to a point but when I spend $400-$500 on something, it better damn well not use stickers.

I’m still mad to this day that the Ghostbuster HQ sign is stickers.

Yeah it's a pretty crappy set.
If the Minifigures are the only thing that interest you, I'd just buy them from Bricklink or Ebay and skip on the whole set.

Mega Construx is all prints now, and their sets are less expensive! There really is no excuse, I do get the feeling that they don't print to save on money and because people buy whole sets just for the different colored unique bricks.

I recently picked up the new Mega Construx Armories.
The WWII set has great Minifigures that look like Marines, love the mud paint on the boots/legs and the weapons are nice. The new wood crate is the most unique part and looks good, albeit a little too large as a crate that has anything a soldier really needs, it's even larger than the crates used to ship Jeeps. The set looks the best as it's alternate build as a Trench.

The Hazmat set is fantastic. The two different Minifigs look great, love the simple but effective builds of the oxygen tank, the small vials, and the compressed gas tank, the monitor print looks great and has many uses. The Intermodal container with the door on it's side just has the one new side compared to the previous containers, but that door adds something to the container that makes it more as a mobile base. I like this set enough that I bought a second one.

I also found just one of the new Care Package build sets, the WWII one. The set looks pretty bad. The prints on the weapons doesn't look like anything from WWII, and the red "vest" on the Minifig just looks weird, I don't think it's a look from WWII either. Best thing about the set is the blast effect piece for the end of a weapon and the small wood crate.

Looks like LEGO Ideas will be doing the Flintstones:

So much for the "amazing" year of offers for Black VIP holders. I didn't really expect anything substantial to come from this promo, but it's still disappointing how pathetic this whole debacle ended up being.

Yep. I’m in for the card holder though.

20 years of Star Wars lego next year, I hope they release some of there hard to get sets.
Top 2 for me, Imperial Shuttle and Star Destroyer.

The UCS Millennium Falcon was briefly $599 on Walmart.com today. Was that the first major sale (25% off) for that set? I don't recall it ever being under the standard $799 price...

Lego shop does the double points sometimes. So that’s kind of $80 off. I missed the Walmart deal by a few mins but I bet there will be more. I just want a second one to open and build.

Love the '67 Mustang! I'm going to get that set!

Mega Construx Heroes wave 4 is showing up at stores (I saw them only at Walmart so far). I picked up Hellboy and Kratos. Once again, the He-Man figures: Man-At-Arms & Evil-Lyn were snatched up. I saw a few Endos and Enzio seems to be the peg warmer of the wave. I also saw several MOTU Wind Raider sets, they're also available now on Amazon for $20:

Pictures of Wave 5 have shown up of Mega Construx Heroes, they are: X-Files Fox Mulder & a Gray Alien, TMNT Comic version of Donatello, He-Man Stratos and Scare-Glow.
