I would have preferred Blue myself as well but as I paid for mine using funds from selling other shizzle I thought I'd keep it on.

I doubt I'll buy anymore though 3 with the exact same mold is pushing it (4 if you count the re-worked SS)

Although if they do a Decepticon Barricade version I might just forget that...I could do with some new Decepticons

I agree with you about Barricade. There's just something very appealing about police car alt modes... I would be very tempted by a Diaclone-style Sunstreaker, too, probably for the same reason. I usually pass on any repaints that aren't specific G1 characters, though.

The Skyfire looks nice, though more "toy-like" than Daca. Good choice for Classics collectors, but then there's an official one for that coming out... I agree that the character model is a bit bland to begin with, though. It will be interesting to see how FansToys tackles it.

He didn't mind fan feedback when he was being hailed as the Second Coming of 3rd party Transformer producers but after being caught out on a couple of things in the last week he's decided to play the victim card

There's extremists on both sides of the argument and anyone with a sane, balanced viewpoint has no chance of commenting without some crap being flung in their direction as you no doubt discovered yourself.

On a brighter note,

MP Bluestreak ( toy deco ) is going to be in my grubby mitts next week and with luck Scoria is going to be some time in the next fortnight as well

That picture of Magnus is too small and limited to really get a good feel for it, imo. The non-color mold looked pretty good, so I guess one has to assume the color version will be as good if not better. Still, I'm not jumping up and down over it.

The above pic is one of Arafat's many cheap shots at Fans Toys. His posts at TFW were littered with them until someone pointed out it made him look bad then he tried to backtrack.

So whilst some people have gone way too far in the level of flak they sent his way, he is far from being the innocent victim he was trying to make out in his "farewell" message.

You're saving yourself a lot of hassle. I haven't posted in the Transformer related threads at TFW for ages because I can't be bothered with all the BS. I mainly use the site for news on stuff I'm waiting for such as Scoria.

Honestly, I think G1 Skyfire with that head looks way better than the Daca toys version looks, though they are obviously very different designs, conceptually and in terms of execution.

i know what you guys are saying... i signed up there not too long ago as i was getting into the masterpiece line... and wanted to get up to speed and learn etc.

i like some of the 3rd party stuff and the literal garbage that goes on in those forums is sickening. it's impossible to get any real info because there is so much back and forth shiz talking you literally can't make heads or tails of it all!

i personally like the 3rd party stuff and have skyfire and slag on preorder... but i'm about done going to that site other than to find out a release date or some pics because its pretty messed up there!
