I'm not bothered about the clear Optimus Prime but Skywarp and Thundercracker will be mine and I hope this is a sign that Thrust and Dirge will follow in the near future.
Let the Botcon elitists whine all they like,IMO it serves them right for their endless boasting on numerous TF sites about the fact they paid so much for a set of repaints.

If you want a BOTCON set all you have to do is join the Transformers Collectorclub and order one when they go on sale. It really is that easy.

As I didn't get back into collecting Transformers until about 3 months after Botcon 2007 I never had the chance to get one at the original price.

I'm in the UK and will be using a bidding agent to order my Skywarp and Thundercracker figs as the one I use also has a buying service for ordering items from Japanese stores. It means I'll have to pay a commission fee but it will still work out cheaper than a Botcon 2007 set now costs.

Masato is very helpful and super efficient. I've used his service several times for bidding on Yahoo Japan auctions and ordering from stores and have had zero problems.

Yes, I used him recently to get some Kubricks on Yahoo Auctions in Japan. I haven't gotten them yet since he apparently only sends things overseas at the end of the month, but so far so good.

How sturdy are the Revoltech figures? I really like the look of them but given their size am concerned about the durability of the joints.

They have ratcheting joints. I don't know how well they would hold up to serious play, but they're really more for display, and for that purpose they shouldn't have any durability problems even if you like to change their poses fairly often.
