I don't know, the white Prime in armour always seemed like a cheat to me. I never liked it, the same way I don't like Powermaster Prime. I've no loyalty to the old inarticulate toy or to the IDW Tyrest Accord/Minimus Ambus story they concocted to canonise it (good though it was). I grew up with the G1 cartoons and Magnus was always one big 'bot to me.

Any other "cheap-not BBTS type of pricing" stores that carry these for US buyers?

Good news on Chimung, will definitely bear them in mind now.

Well I had an email today confirming my order for Bumblebee is currently preparing so all being well if they do ship him today I might see him by the end of the week.

But all this faffing just wasn't worth the saving.
I might still keep my Magnus order on though & just put up with the delay...I'm currently looking at a saving of at least £25 on the Kapow early bird price (£125) & over £60 on the regular price (£140)

As long as he gets through Customs unscathed I'll be quids in

So I did pick up a MP Black Rodimus and bought the replacement knees from Robot Kingdom. I fear I have stepped down a dark path into MP world. I have avoided them thus far. Fortunately I kinda only want to get black MP figures. So I have Skywarp (the first one), G2 Sideswipe, and now Black Rodimus. May also want to pick up Soundblaster and Black Convoy.

You definitely won't be disappointed if you pick up Black Convoy and Soundblaster! They're great repaints

I've still not had a message from Nippon-Yasan but I checked my account page and I can now pay off the remaining total on Ultra Buttflap so I'm thinking the e-mail went to my spam folder which I never usually look at.

All things considered I reckon I'll let 'em cancel it and use the money towards something else.

My MP-21 Bumble has just been delivered by Parcelforce! That's lightning fast considering it was only posted in Japan on Friday. It's a really impressive little figure, especially in robot mode. I thought I'd hate the faces as they didn't look too great in the promo pics, but in hand they look great...really liking the smiling one. Here's a quick phone pic.

Here's a quick update vid on the 3D Light FX Autobot light that I got a while back. Since I ordered directly from them and asked why the original light was wrong, they got new stock in that had correct lighting. And they were awesome enough to send me a replacement at no extra cost! Gotta love that!!
