Yeah, if I'm not mistaken he grabbed two Constructicons once, and they look as big as Laserbeak.

I think his size is just fine.

Apparently he's slightly larger in scale than he should be according to this, but considering the inconsistencies in scale on the cartoon I don't think it's a huge deal, either.

It's fine... you know how it is. The person/people that have a "beef" with this will alway chime in. It's a record that is broken or that horse thingy... beating till its dead.

The cab is precisely the same size as Optimus as a cab, so that's probably a big reason for his being the size he is. Something had to give.

It's certainly an option if you have the MP01 mold or Rodimus.

It probably doesn't help my opinion of MP22 that I have absolutely no nostalgia for the character, I never owned the G1 toy and only ever saw him in the '86 movie where he was a bit of a non event.

The '86 movie characters I would like are,

Blurr
Springer
Arcee
Wreck-Gar ( random Junkion as a retool/repaint )
Wheelie ( should be a bit smaller than Bumblebee )

Official or not that scale chart makes no sense if you support the white Prime/original toy/Minimus Ambus idea. Considering that the whole of Optimus should fit in Magnus's chest, in that case.

Look at MP-10 standing next to MP-22, Takara managed to put an MP-10 sized cab in its chest! The same size cab that makes up the whole of MP-10, is in the torso of MP-22.

I think they did a fantastic engineering job without having to invent mass shifting lol!

I think if it had been an MP-10 wearing armor it would have been easier to make him smaller scale. He would be a little taller than Prime and quite a bit bulkier. That may have presented other problems like managing to make the armor form into the trailer and still keep both the right size.

I personally like the taller height. My complaint is how fat he is. Too much bulk in the body and head. I opted for stack with the sxs head upgrade. He's a little tall as well according to the size chart but not as bulky.

I got an email from TFSource about a preorder for new Daniel exosuit head sculpts. I haven't gotten a chance to open my Bumblebee yet but I don't think I'd spend the money on them. I wasn't even planning on displaying Daniel.

The Masterpiece line has been awesome and the wait for each one to come out is excruciating. What is coming out for 2015 and how many are we going to get? Come on Takara. Finish up with the other 4 Dinobots, give us Megatron version 2, Insecticons, Galvatron, etc. The not-knowing is killing me.

They do need to Re-do Grimlock though. It's funny how tiny he is.

I will be putting a G2 symbol on this guy, have some from Reprolabels as the one from Takara I ruined when attempting to apply. I will just need to take off the bandolier and after what a ***** it was to put i on I'm not super stoked to do that just yet.

Though Mirage is actually optional to me, that hits on the major ones I still want, as well. But I would certainly still buy any '84 or '85 figures Takara produced, and in particularly I would love to see Trailbreaker, Jetfire, Blitzwing, and the Aerialbots since I had the figures as a kid, and Brawn since he was such a cool character on the show.

Dinobots = Fans Toys have them covered. Swoop is imminent, Snarl is currently scheduled for March so there's a good chance that we'll see something of Sludge and Grimlock during 2015 even if both don't get released.

'84 Autobot cars = I have my top 2 ( Bluestreak and Wheeljack ) but I'd still like Sunstreaker, Mirage, Hound and Jazz.

Minibots = I don't know whether Takara will consider any of the others viable now they've done Bumblebee but if they don't BadCube are more than capable of filling out that roster. Cliffjumper is my most wanted Minibot.

Decepticons = A new Megatron and a Takara version of Thundercracker with the MP11 mold and I'm done....unless there's an official Devastator which I'm not convinced is likely.

What I want most for the Masterpiece line in 2015 = The return of Shogo Hasui.
