You do know the TRU exclusive Hasbro MP Thundercracker is based off the MP11 mold right?

I passed on picking up the hasbro one because of those cheap and nasty tampos. A proper one from Takara is what I'm after. In sure thecorsair is thinking along similar lines.

Pretty much, I tend to prefer Takara's color schemes and packaging and they're also much less hassle to acquire here in the UK.

Hasbro's distribution outside North America is terrible and there's no guarantee that any of their releases even make it to retail here.

If they do it's usually leftover stock from the States that gets scalped the minute it hits the shelves and resold for silly prices so I don't even save money by waiting for them.

Wasn't Magnus bigger than Prime and Rodimus? He's always been huge, I really don't see the complaints regarding his size to be honest. And MP09 in Rodimus mode is a little bigger than MP10, almost unnoticeable.

I think Magnus is a home run. I respect if you want to keep it 84-85, nothing wrong with that. But the size complaints seriously make no sense. Guy was bigger than freaking Grimlock

Couldn't agree more. He looks superb and he's going to be bigger than Prime...he's supposed to be the truck and trailer combined. People still ragging on this figure without even having it in hand doesn't really make sense, even more so the folk who won't buy it but still harp on?

Can't wait personally.

Thanks to the always incredible pics by elljay! MP-22 Ultra Magnus looks absolutely frickin amazing!! How anyone can really complain about how this guy looks is beyond me.

Based on the early reviews and pics, it's another winner for Takara! Mine should be on its way tomorrow! Cannot wait!!

Simple....not everyone likes the same things.

As I have already stated, the character is not one I have even a shred of nostalgia for and I don't buy things just for the sake of completism.

I was initially curious about MP22 but the more I saw, the more I disliked it and I decided it had no place in my collection. I let Nippon-Yasan cancel my pre-order.

You like it, be happy with that instead of trying to belittle anyone who has a different view to your own.

He is pretty cool. I personally like him, but I Do wish two things

i prefer the white Optimus under the armor

do not like the buttflap.

Neither of these is a deal breaker however.

You'll think this piece will drop in price? I'm on the fence... he isnt a major character for me growing up, but UM does look good and I thnk would look great with my autobot display.

It doesn't change the color of blue to be cartoon accurate or make the figure any more available in the UK though

Takara will do MP11-T at some point and this time round I think they might go for a similar color scheme to iGear's which to me has the most cartoon accurate shade of blue so far.

Dr Wu are making Spike and Daniel heads for the exosuit that came with Bumblebee,


Spike looks a bit meh but still better than the stock head and Daniel is pretty good. Might be a nice option for me as I have 2 exosuits.

I don't think I did see the TFC one...I have a very vague recollection about it but don't remember watching it.

Agreed on the combination sequence, almost makes me miss my Herc as it's a really well designed piece, but not one that fits with the Masterpiece aesthetic.
