SOLD. Now I just need official MP Megs,Hound,Jazz and Insecticons and my favorites are covered.

I use to only buy Takara Masterpieces but got my first 3rd party Transformer today from Badcube. Brawny and Backland came out great no doubt. There are 3rd party pre-orders and previews for the Insecticons and Hound. Takara is taking too long to come with their products while the other companies are making quality Transformers that rival their masterpieces.

Megs, Hound, and Jazz are also way way up on my list, but I'm pretty excited at the likelihood that we'll get Ironhide and Ratchet within the next few releases. I think of Ironhide as one of the most important Autobots. Sort of Prime's right-hand man.

Id welcome Ironhide and Ratchet with open arms as well. Never cared for their alt modes but Id love to have these guys displayed in bot mode next to the others.

3rd party figures are getting better and better no doubt. Ive seen the Insecticons and Hound and literally have to fight myself from pushing the preorder button on them,especially Hound! I have faith that Takara will make these characters eventually and I can wait. They will be cheaper in price,official and just as satisfying. The only 3rd party placeholders Im looking at purchasing are Xtransbots Megatron,Gigas Dinobots(if they continue to impress) and Badcubes Warpath.

My first thought is also that he looks a bit stylized, but you could get a stylized look out of most of the recent MP figures if you pose them in just the right way.

Yeah, I'm not too concerned about the weird pose, to be quite honest. I think he'll look just fine.

Forgot to include the Xtransbot Megatron (Apollyon) - man that looks so good. Also forgot to mention Gigapower's Snarl. The thing that bugs me a lot is how much bigger he is compared to MP Grimlock.

GIGA is also doing its own version of Grimlock (as well as FT) so don't fret. Just buy him!

That's just it I'm not too sure.

You guys are the only people I use for any of my TF info these days & as no one had mentioned 27 (I only just read about Ironhide in Teemu's post so that was new news to me too) I just wondered what it could have been

I'm happy with whatever, I'm just glad new announcements from Takara are starting to surface...as much as I love what the 3p's are doing I still want Takara's offerings more.

Yeah, it seems like those with distinct molds (even just the new face I think on the Decepticon version of Wheeljack) get their own number. I would bank on Ratchet, assuming Ironhide is, in fact, MP-26.

They used to but as Karamazov says it seems that they may be changing that as Exhaust (the Wheeljack Repaint) gets his own number but that said Bumblee repaint is just MP-21G so I'm not really sure.

Ideally red tracks will get a letter designation & we'll get a total new piece for 27

Yea, Exhaust being MP-23 has shaken things up a bit, and we won't know for sure until MP-27 is officially announced, but I get the feeling that because it has it's own character name that it'll get it's own number. MP-21G Bumblebee is still called Bumblebee so I can see why that just gets it's G designation. I personally don't care how they number them, but MP-27 was listed as Road Rage on that Taboao list that had Tracks as MP-25.

I'm gonna wait until Takara release better official pics of Tracks before I make a decision on him, but so far I'm disappointed.
