Finding Cubex Huffer for a good price is proving problematic.

Badcube have said they're considering rereleasing Huff, just not this year so if you can't get one now there's still a chance of getting one at a decent price and with improved QC as the original run had a couple of issues which is something to take into account when looking at buying one of the current ones. Mine has 1 small paint defect and the hip joints needed fixing with the floor polish trick but is otherwise fine.

Where did that colored image originate?

I'm asking as it still looks somewhat unfinished to me, a lot of the areas on the robot mode that have been left grey should really be black and it would be very odd for Takara to miss something like that,

Looks waaaay better. And incredibly good too, holy ****.

And Corsair, the grey could be a bit darker, but it's still accurate to the cartoon model. Ironically I think that is the major thing it has going against it right now. I would have preferred toy colors, with black robot-bits and without that ******* yellow square behind the Autobot symbol.

It seems that they are not. RK's description states that if there's any exclusive accessories, they'll update the listing at a later date, and include them at no extra cost.

Fair enough!

On the G1 Tracks toy the forearms, hands and thighs were black but I also had a look at some random images from the cartoon and as Ra88 says the grey is somewhat accurate so it seems like Takara have interpreted the cartoon coloring more literally than they have with some of the other cars.

Bluestreak for example was a flat grey and black in the cartoon but the grey was always intended to be silver so that's what the color of the Masterpiece was. If they'd gone 100% cartoon accurate it'd have looked very bland and the same applies to Wheeljack if Takara hadn't paid out for the Alitalia branding.

It'll be intresting to see if the flame decal on the car hood is so cartoon accurate as it looked like this,

With Air Raid now here, the Hasbro Superion looks pretty good. But will definitely be interesting to see how the Takara version turns out with Slingshot replacing the odd-one-out in Alpha Bravo!

How is Brawn in hand? An ebay seller wants $80 for him, which seems kind of high....

Is he good quality? He looks great, but I know nothing about that company...,

Quality is higher than the official MPs, in my opinion - great plastic, great transformation, really, one of my favorite figs.

I'd recommend doing the Brawny/Backland 2 pack with the bonus accessories if you can swing it - I like Outbacks color scheme even more.

The individual bots dont look too bad, but dear god Menasor looks terrible!! The standard body proportions are just all wrong! Might have to go and look at some of those pics showing the mix and matching of the figures to see what looks best!
