Remember Anime Export don't mark packages as gifts so you risk customs charges.

I got my Nissans from there and some of mine got through but my Smokescreens didn't. I forget how much the customs charge was as it's been a while now but it added enough to the overall cost that I may as well have just ordered from a UK dealer in the first place.

If you do order from there I'll keep my fingers crossed that your orders get through :)

Yeah I remember they don't mark down but touch wood all that I ordered previously got through unscathed.

I just used MP-10 as a basis for a shipping calculation for Magnus & it looks like shipping will run me to around another £35 so call it £105 shipped Customs would then add about £30 (including Royal Mail ludicrous £8 handling charge) meaning I will be at about £135 so I would need a UK retailer to be around that to make me order from here but not sure I want to risk waiting in case they don't get the re-issues :(

And I used Wheeljack to calculate for Hot Rod & EMS would be about £11 so call him £42 all in Customs being another £16.40 so you are looking at much closer to UK sellers (I reckon Kapow will be about £55 + shipping) so probably better to wait on these from the UK.

It's so hard to decide what to do.
At least with the UK I won't have to track down the coins at extra expense as well.

Dammit!!!!!! :gah: lol

Ordered 2 Hot Rods from AE and waiting for Nippon Yassan to order two Shockwaves. Ive heard stories about AE and having issues with them hopefully I have none,$94 for 2 Hot Rods was a steal.

I didn't have any problems with AE with the few orders I placed aside from the aforementioned customs charges on my two Smokescreens. Everything was always nicely packed and arrived within the usual timespan I expect when I order from Asia and when the figures didn't get caught by customs I did save a bit of cash.

$94 is roughly £61 at the current exchange rate. Which is £14 short of the cost of one Badcube Sunstreaker....UK prices suck :lol

I've not used them myself but have read that Nippon-Yasan have a habit of banning anyone who cancels orders from using them again. Kind of extreme, but I guess they got tired of people messing them around.

soundwave,
My most recent customs experience added £70 to the final total on a HT figure that I only ordered from Sideshow because I wanted the Exclusive....I'm not doing that again :lol

Kapow & TFS-Express got both the recent MP10 reissues so they'll likely get the Ultra Magnus one as well.

I like having the coins although all mine are presently stuck in a drawer as I have nowhere to display them adequately.

I have to admit, I've very impressed with Shockwave's color shots. He looks phenomenal. I am still interested in seeing how Quakeblast looks (if they still end up doing him), but Takara's version looks mighty impressive.

Re: All things transformers!!!!

Had some credit sitting and the captured pray.

Both Shock and HR paid for, as well as MP Tracks, MP Ironhide, and MP Thundercraker.

Bring them!

Perfection. I can't believe TT actually made a better Shockwave. I didn't think it was possible.

I always have faith in TT - beyond their crappy Ultra Magnus - they usually bring the noise.
Quakewave was just too generic to me. TT's actually looks like shockwave in robot mode with a better head and legs.

Lol you were never going to escape the customs with Sideshow ;)
Think how I feel...I've ordered 4 Premium Format statues from them ;) lol

Yeah I think I'll wait & see if they do get them on Kapow.
I do like getting the coins so that is some money saved.

The more I look at Shockwave the more I prefer the colours of Takaras version , just something about the lighter Purple that looks more accurate to me.

**** it. Ordered an additional pair (Shock and HR) from AE for $140. Can't beat that.

If you think about it, that price is actually still cheaper that QW. LOL.

How does one request shipping estimates from these guys?

First time dealing with them, thanks in advance.

I know you had beef with UM, and while he coulee been better, he still stands tall in my collection. To me, he looks just like he came out of the movie and i guess TT had to make a lot of sacrifices in order to achieve it. He's ok until they release the 2.0 version, lol.

He looks good on the shelf. I won't lie. I know a lot of people don't like Star Saber, but I preferred having him.

I might pick UM back up if the US version is any different... and it's cheap haha

Yeah I knew it was coming, I just miscalculated my estimation of the total by about £30 :gah:

The fact that MP Shockwave doesn't parts form at all is sick.

The mini me gun, the salute hand, the freaking cartoon inaccuracy hand, FFS.

I ****ing love TT.

Cant wait until next year these are two much needed MP's. Anyone wanna guess whats coming next? Ill play it safe and say the next few revealed are
MP Ratchet
MP Diaclone Black Tracks (TT summer exclusive)
MP Hound
MP Diaclone Ultra Magnus
MP Mirage

I love Shockwave, but I LOVE hot rod. I had serious doubts about him until the colored shots emerged. Glad I was able to cancel my PO of Quakewave!

For those interested, the dark purple QW is only $119 shipped on eBay, from a top rated seller. Paypal now protects for half a year so this is kind of a bargain.

I actually sold my 3rd (2nd maybe?) run QW yesterday for $120 so i was actually ok with it. If you are on the fence, the more you wait, the less you'll get for him.
